Purpose: This article provides an overview of all pick-up options available per plan for the UK market. It will help you quickly find the relevant information and provide an easy-to-understand summary of pick-up options for each carrier. Before you book a pick-up

Before booking a pick-up, it is important to generate a pick-up report. This will help in case any issue occurs during the parcel's journey.

Additionally, make sure to know the conditions of each carrier before you book a pick-up. Please review the conditions of the carriers by clicking on the links provided under each section.

pick-up Options by Carrier

DPD UK

  • Type: Recurring pick-ups only
  • Requirements: Minimum volume of 5-10 parcels/collection
  • Price: pick-ups are not charged; however, a fuel charge will apply
  • Plan: Paid subscription required

DHL Ecommerce UK

  • Type: Recurring pick-ups only
  • Requirements: Minimum 5 parcels/pick-up, flexible schedule (no daily collection needed)
  • Price: The pick-up price is included in the label price
  • Plan: Paid subscription required
  • How to book it: Get in touch with Sales or Support for further information
  • DHL Conditions: DHL Ecommerce UK Shipping Conditions

Evri

  • Type: Recurring pick-ups only or drop off to a depot (consult with Sendcloud support first)
  • Requirements: Minimum volume around 150 parcels/week, flexible schedule possible (no daily collection needed)
  • Plan: Paid subscription required
  • How to book it: Get in touch with Sales or Support for further information
  • Evri Conditions: Evri Shipping Conditions

Evri dropoff

  • Type: Incidental pick-ups only (using Evri dropoff Address to Address services)
  • Requirements: Minimum 1 parcel/pick-up
  • Plan: No subscription required
  • How to book it: pick-ups will automatically generate when a label is created from the panel, please remember to set up your sender address before.
  • Note: Evri dropoff labels cannot be canceled, please contact Support if needed

FedEx

  • Type: Incidental & recurring pick-ups possible
  • Requirements: More than 10 parcels per pick-up for recurring pick-ups
  • Price: The pick-up price is included in the label price
  • Plan: Paid subscription required
  • How to book it:
    • Incidental pick-ups: Through the panel, by following the steps of our article.
      pick-up requests can only be scheduled for the same day or the next business day. Attempting to schedule a pick-up for any later date will result in an error: "pick-up Date too far in the future."
    • Recurring pick-ups: Get in touch with Sales or Support for further information
  • Fedex Conditions: Fedex Shipping Conditions

Inpost UK

  • Type: recurring pick-ups only
  • Requirements: Minimum 10 parcel/pick-up
  • Plan: Paid subscription required
  • How to book it: To request the recurring pick-up, contact our Customer Support

UPS

  • Type: Incidental pick-ups only through the pick-up tab
  • Plan: Paid subscription required

Royal Mail

  • Type: Incidental pick-ups only (booked outside of the Sendcloud platform)
  • Requirements: Minimum 1 parcel per pick-up
  • Plan: No subscription required
  • How to book it: pick-ups must be arranged directly with Royal Mail collection service, as they cannot be scheduled through Sendcloud
  • Price: The price is £0.30 per collection

Note: pick-ups scheduled directly with Royal Mail are managed independently. Sendcloud is not responsible for any issues such as failed collections, delays, or lost shipments.

If you schedule a pick-up directly with the driver or local office, Sendcloud is NOT responsible for any incidents incurred, including failed pick-up and lost, damaged or delayed shipments.
