DPD Home (Combined with a fixed pick-up)
Service Presentation
With DPD Home you can schedule a fixed pick-up for free as well. This is possible from a monthly volume of 100 shipments. From 300 shipments per month, it is also possible to attach a time frame to the collection. The packages will be delivered to your customers' places worldwide using this shipping method.
NOTE: If you create DPD home label on Friday, Saturday delivery will be included as standard. If you do not want this, you can select DPD Classic. If this method is not active in your account, you can contact our Customer Service department.

- Free pick-up
- Including insurance up to € 520 within Europe
- Including signature on delivery
- One delivery attempt. The shipment will then be delivered to a service point and the customer has 7 days to collect the shipment.

DPD Express (Time definite delivery)

You can select DPD Express if you want your shipments to be delivered within the Netherlands before 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. on the following working day.
PAY ATTENTION! These labels must be created before 10 a.m. in the morning. Special 'Express tape' is required for this method. You can request this tape by contacting our Customer Service department.
Shipping method features:
- Delivery within the Netherlands before 12:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.
- Special free 'Express tape' is required for this method. The shipment may simply be packed with this tape, but it must be clearly visible on the shipment.
- Including insurance up to € 520 within Europe
- Including signature on delivery
- One delivery attempt before the agreed time, in the event of a failed attempt, the shipment will be delivered one working day later. After that, the shipment will be delivered to a depot and the customer has 7 days to collect the shipment here.

Shipping to service points
DPD Pick-up point

With this shipping method, you can have your shipments delivered to a DPD service point so that your customers can pick up the package themselves. You can hand these packages in at a service point, but you can also give them with your fixed pick-up.

- Including signature on delivery
- One delivery attempt at the service point. The shipment will then be delivered to a service point and the customer has 7 days to collect the shipment.

Claim procedure
Insured shipments
All of DPD's methods are insured as standard (up to 520 euros). A claim for these types of shipments can be submitted via the Sendcloud panel (based on purchase value). Click on the concerning shipment, then click on the bottom right to request help > submit a claim for a lost/damaged shipment. If the purchase value is not known, a reimbursement will be given based on the sales value minus the profit margin.
This way the correct documents are collected and the claim file will be complete so the carrier can process a claim in the quickest way. If you have to fill in a field that is not available to you (for example if you do not have a purchase invoice), you can also upload a word file with an explanation.
Please note the following products are excluded from DPD damage claims:
- Glass and articles incorporating glass
- Earthenware and similar products prone to breakage
- Ceramics
- Stone
- Hard plastic
- Sugar or chocolate ware
- Cast iron objects
- Buckets
- Cans and jerry cans with oil
- Works of art
- Jewellery (including watches)
- Precious metals
- Gemstones
- Real pearls
- Porcelain
- Antiques
- Carpet
- Furs and other valuables
- Liquid substances of any kind
Please note: damage to a shipment must be reported to us within 7 days after delivery. On the other hand, DPD will unfortunately not handle the claim.
