Purpose: In this article we explain how to organize fixed or incidental pick-ups, as well as the conditions and requirements.
*Free plan users can schedule incidental pick-ups with Correos Express, since sending a package with Correos Express requires scheduling a pick-up.
Correos
For the carrier to pick up your parcels you must schedule a pick-up after creating your labels. pick-ups with Correos can only be scheduled if you have a paid Sendcloud subscription (from Lite onwards).
Incidental pick-ups
To schedule a one-time pick-up, you can schedule an incidental pick-up from the Sendcloud panel. To learn how to do it, read our article How can I request a parcel pick-up. pick-ups with Correos can only be scheduled if you have a paid Sendcloud subscription (from Lite onwards).
Conditions:
- Minimum: Each pick-up requires a minimum of 5 shipments, with a monthly average of at least 10 shipments per pick-up. This means it's ok to hand over 5 shipments, as long as the monthly average meets the 10 shipments per pick-up requirement.
- Must be requested 1 workday before (low season) and 3 working days in advance (high season)
- Two different shifts: morning (10:00-14:00) or afternoon (15:00-19:00)
- For special pallet pick-ups, please contact our support team
- Costs: Free
Recurring pick-ups
You can schedule a recurring pick-up directly from your Sendcloud panel if you have at least 10 parcels per pick-up. To learn how to do it, read our article How to create a parcel pick-up.
If you don't meet the conditions to request a pick-up, you can drop your parcels at a Correos service point.
Correos Express
Incidental pick-ups
For the carrier to pick up your parcels you must schedule a pick-up after creating your labels. If you have a Lite, Growth or Premium subscription and you wish to schedule a one-time pick-up, you can schedule an incidental pick-up from your Sendcloud panel. Conditions:
- Minimum: 1 parcel per pick-up
- Two different shifts: morning (10:00-14:00) or afternoon (15:00-19:00)
- For special pallet pick-ups, please contact our support team
- Same day incidental pick-ups can only be scheduled for the afternoon shift and they must be requested before 12:00
- Incidental pick-ups for the morning shift must be scheduled the previous working day before 16:00
- Costs for Free plan users: 2,00€ per pick-up (01-05) parcels + 0,40€ per additional parcel
- Costs for users with a paid subscription: Free
Recurring pick-ups
Conditions
- Minimum of 3 parcels per pick-up - 99 parcels maximum per pick-up
- pick-ups from Monday-Friday
- If you don't have parcels to be picked up, please contact the local office to notify them. If not a surcharge may be applied.
- During low season, pick-ups must be requested 2 working days in advance; 4 working days in advance during high season.

For both incidental and recurring pick-ups, a surcharge of 2.50 € will be applied if the pick-up could not take place due to one of the following reasons:

- No parcels to be picked up
- Parcels are not ready to be picked up when the driver arrives at the pick-up address
- The address provided is wrong or incomplete
- The contact person is absent and the driver can not reach them.
UPS
For the carrier to pick up your parcels you must schedule a pick-up after creating your labels. pick-ups with UPS can only be scheduled if you have a paid Sendcloud subscription (from Lite onwards). If you ship with Sendcloud rates, you can only schedule incidental pick-ups. Recurring pick-ups with UPS are only available if you have your own contract with the carrier.
Incidental pick-ups
To schedule a one-time pick-up, you can schedule an incidental pick-up from the Sendcloud panel. To learn how to do it, read our article How can I request a parcel pick-up.
Conditions:
- Same day*: 5.60€ per pick-up
- Next work day*: 3€ per pick-up
- Surcharge for residential pick-up (applies for both home pick-ups and companies that operate from a home address): 1.05€ per pick-up. Learn about other surcharges with UPS here.
- Minimum: 1 parcel per pick-up
- Pallets are not accepted.

If you don't meet the conditions to request a pick-up, you can drop your parcels at a UPS drop-off point.
If you schedule a pick-up directly with the driver or local office, Sendcloud is NOT responsible for any incidents incurred, including failed pick-up and lost, damaged or delayed shipments.
When you schedule a pick-up with a carrier, you automatically agree to their terms and conditions.
