Shipping Methods (National)
Special conditions
- Volumetric weight: This refers to the space a package occupies during transit (its physical size). Carriers use volumetric weight to ensure shipping costs accurately reflect the parcel's size in relation to its actual weight. They will always charge based on the higher value between the actual weight and the calculated volumetric weight. More information is available in our Help Center article: How to calculate & automate parcel volumetric weight.
- Recipient unavailable: If the recipient is unavailable, the parcel may be left in a mailbox or delivered to a neighbour if deemed appropriate. The recipient will be informed of any alternative delivery.
- Undeliverable parcel: If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel will be returned to the sender. Please note that this may incur additional charges, which are non-refundable.

How does it work?
Step 1: Create the label
- When creating a label with the shipping method “Entrega Plus”, two labels will be generated: one for the outbound (replacement) parcel and one for the return of the original item.
Step 2: Prepare your parcels
- Outbound label: Affix the shipping label for the replacement item securely to the outside of the box.

Return Label: Place the return label for the original item, either:
- Inside the box, on top of the product, for your customer to easily access and hand to the driver.
- In a waterproof envelope attached securely to the outside of the outbound parcel.
Step 3: Book a pick-up
- Schedule a pickup for your parcel(s). See the Pick-ups section for more detailed information on how to book it.
Step 4: Driver exchange
- When the carrier's driver arrives, they will deliver the replacement item to your customer.
- Simultaneously, the driver will pick up the original item from your customer, using the return label.
Step 5: Return to sender
- The carrier will then deliver the original item back to you.
Additional notes:
- Only the tracking number of the outbound shipment will be displayed on your Sendcloud Panel. To track the returning parcel, you can copy-paste the tracking number from the second label and track it directly on Correos Express tracking site.
- If you are shipping with our rates, you will not be able to open a ticket for the return shipment directly via the panel in case of delay, damage or loss. You will need to contact our Customer Support Team for assistance via email at support@sendcloud.com. Make sure you provide the tracking number, parcel description (size, characteristics), content description and invoice.

- Print 5 copies
- To automatically download your pre-filled customs documents when you create a label, in the Sendcloud panel go to Shipping > Printing options > Customs documents > Check the option Print customs documents with labels. Select the printer, the format and the number of copies.
- To download your pre-filled customs documents after label creation, go to Created orders in Sendcloud > Click the eye icon > Actions > Download Customs Declaration.

Packing Slip (optional): How can I download picking lists and packing slips?
- Print 5 copies
- To download your packing slip, in the Sendcloud panel, go to Shipping > Created labels > Select the order/s by checking the box next to them > Click the arrow next to "Cancel" to open a drop-down menu and select Packing slip > Click Print.
Place all 15 documents (5 CN23/Commercial Invoice + 5 purchase invoices + 5 packing slip) inside a transparent envelope and attach it securely to the outside of the parcel.
VAT & EORI
- VAT and EORI number of the sender are mandatory for shipments outside the EU.

HS Codes
- The Harmonized System code used to classify the type of product.

Pick-ups
General features
- To ship with Correos Express, it is mandatory to schedule a pickup.
- Pick-up address: This carrier does not copy the Address 2 line field. All address information needs to be on Address 1 line (300 characters max.).
- Always keep your proof of handover until all your parcels are successfully delivered. You can do this by asking the driver to sign your pickup report. - Please note that pickup times are subject to local office availability and may be affected during peak seasons or force majeure events.
- A surcharge of €2.50 will be applied if the pickup could not take place due to one of the following reasons:
- No parcels to be picked up.
- Parcels are not ready to be picked up when the driver arrives at the pickup address.
- The address provided is wrong or incomplete.
- The contact person is absent, and the driver can not reach them.
Incidental Pick-up
For the carrier to pick up your parcels on an as-needed basis, you'll need to schedule a one time collection after you've created your shipping labels.

Free Subscription Users: If you're on the Free plan, please contact our Customer Support Team at support@sendcloud.com to request it. Once your request is confirmed, we will send you an email notification.

Request Timing:
- Morning pick-ups: can be scheduled up until 4 PM on the previous business day.
- Afternoon pick-ups: can be schedule up until 12 PM (noon) on the same day as the pickup.
- No Parcels for Pickup? If you have no parcels for a scheduled pickup, please contact our Customer Support Team immediately to cancel it. Failure to do so may result in a surcharge.
Pricing
- Free Subscription Users: €2 per pickup (1 to 5 parcels) + €0.40 per additional parcel.
- Lite Subscription Users Onwards: Free of charge.
Recurring Pick-up
For the carrier to pick up your parcels from a specified location on a consistent basis (e.g., daily, weekly), you can pre-schedule regular collections.

Drop-offs
General features
The drop-off service at a parcel shop is not available with Correos Express. Therefore, a pick-up is required. Please refer to the pick-up section for more information.
Claims Process
If you ship using Sendcloud's rates, Sendcloud acts as the intermediary between you and [carrier]. In case of any incidents with your parcels, you can open a claim directly through the Support panel in your Sendcloud account. This process ensures that all necessary documents are collected, resulting in a complete claim file that the carrier can process as quickly as possible.

- Correos Express reserves the right to recover the shipment for inspection and valuation, so the sender or recipient must keep the damaged goods available until the complete resolution of the claim.

Resolution time (estimated)
Once the claim is submitted to the carrier, we typically receive a response within 15 days. Please note that this is an indicative timeline, and the actual resolution time is subject to the carrier's internal processes and can vary.

Surcharges
The carrier will apply surcharges to your invoice if a parcel you ship does not meet the criteria laid out in their shipping conditions. Package Content Restrictions
Prohibited items
Correos Express does not accept certain items for shipment. If you ship these items, they cannot be covered by the carrier's insurance and will be excluded from any compensation. Please note that this list is not exhaustive.
Items that CANNOT be sent (Prohibited):
- Cash, jewellery, precious metals.
- Art objects, antiques, valuable documents (titles, securities, shares, etc.).
- Objects that, by their nature or packaging, may harm people or other shipments.
- Dangerous goods (flammable, explosive, corrosive, radioactive, etc.).
- Living beings (animals or plants if special permits are required).
- Firearms.
- Drugs and narcotics.
- Pornographic material.
- Biological or infectious materials.
- Organs or human remains.
- Live or dead animals.
- Plants that require special permits.
- Perishable products (food requiring refrigeration or very strict delivery times).
Items that are NOT insured (though they can be sent at your own risk):
- Tobacco and its derivatives.
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Furs.
- Non-infectious biological samples.
- Personal effects.
- Objects that are not properly packaged.

Label Validity, Updates & Cancellation
Understanding the ins and outs of label validity, updates, and cancellations helps in managing your shipments efficiently, avoid unexpected costs, and keeping your shipping process hassle-free.
Label validity
Make sure you use the label to ship your package before it expires:
- InPost labels are valid for 90 days after creation.
Label update

Parcel not yet shipped: you can easily correct the address by cancelling the original label and creating a new one. Using the "Duplicate" feature can simplify this process.

Steps to Cancel a Shipment or Label:
- Go to the Created Labels overview and select the shipment(s) you wish to cancel.
- In the dropdown menu (next to "Print label"), click "Cancel."
- Confirm the cancellation. The label will automatically move to the "Cancelled" tab.

Steps to Duplicate a Label (for creating a new one with corrections):
- Edit the original label in your panel by clicking on the eye icon next to it.
- Select the "Edit new label" option from the dropdown menu of the "Actions" button.
- Modify the data you need to change (e.g., the address).
- Confirm the label creation.
- You will find the new label in the "Created Labels" tab.

Steps to Cancel a Shipment or Label:
- Parcel Has Already Been Shipped: you will need to contact our Customer Service department directly. They will be able to assist you with the process for an address correction in transit.

Parcel not yet shipped: you can easily correct the address by cancelling the original label and creating a new one. Using the "Duplicate" feature can simplify this process.
Cancellation deadline
If you don't use a label, it's essential to cancel it to avoid being charged.
- If you cancel the label before 23:59 on the day of creation, you will not be charged.
- If you cancel it within 42 days of its creation, the costs for this shipment will be corrected on your next invoice.
- After 42 days, it will no longer be possible to cancel or request a refund for the label.
