DHL Paket

Service Presentation

DHL Paket is a domestic delivery service in Germany. You can ship parcels directly to your customers. Parcels need to be dropped off at a service point or locker.

Shipping method features:

• Insured up to €500
• Tracking included
• About more than 32.000 acceptance points all over Germany
• Delivery Monday to Saturdays
• 1 delivery attempt

Characteristics of the parcel 0-2kg:

• Maximum dimensions (L x W x H): 60 x 30 x 15 cm
• Minimum dimensions (L x W x H):  15 x 11 x 1 cm
• Maximum weight: 2 kg

Characteristics of the parcel 2-31.5kg:

• Maximum dimensions (L x W x H): 120 x 60 x 60 cm
• Minimum dimensions (L x W x H):  15 x 11 x 1 cm
• Maximum weight: 31.5kg

For domestic shipments, the maximum combined length and girth is 360 cm.

It is calculated as follows:
Longest side of the parcel + 2x width + 2x height.
A higher charge or a surcharge will apply if:

• The dimensions exceed 120 x 60 x 60 cm.
• The parcel is roll-shaped.
• There are special packaging features.

DHL Warenpost 0-1kg is a mailbox shipping method that can be used for national shipments. Parcels can be dropped off at the nearest DHL point or you can ship them in combination with a pickup.

• About more than 32.000 acceptance points all over Germany
• Delivery Monday to Fridays
• 2 delivery attempt

Characteristics of the parcel: 

• Maximum dimensions (L x W x H): 35.3 x 25 x 5 cm
• Maximum weight: 1 kg

DHL Warenpost GoGreen 0-1kg

Ecologically sustainable delivery option for national mailbox deliveries. Parcels can be dropped off at the nearest DHL point or you can ship them in combination with a pickup.

DHL Paket Filial Routing

Service Presentation

DHL Paket is a domestic delivery service within Germany. You can ship parcels directly to your customers. If no one's available to accept the package, it will be rerouted to the nearest DHL point. Parcels need to be dropped off at a service point or locker.

Shipping method features:

• Insured up to €500
• Tracking included
• About more than 32,000 acceptance points all over Germany
• Delivery Monday to Saturdays
• Items kept for collection for 7 working days
• 2 delivery attempts

Characteristics of the parcel 0-2kg:

• Maximum dimensions (L x W x H): 60 x 30 x 15 cm
• Minimum dimensions (L x W x H):  15 x 11 x 1 cm
• Maximum weight: 2 kg

Characteristics of the parcel 2-31.5kg:

Extra services

• Visual check of age - EUR 0.99: Simple age check without documentation: Delivery only after verification of the minimum age.

• Named person only - EUR 1.49: Simple identity check, with delivery only to the recipient or an authorized person.

• No neighbour delivery - EUR 0.29: Delivery to neighbors is excluded as a delivery option

Investigations

Lost shipments: If your shipment has not received a new scan for 5 consecutive days, you can initiate an investigation to determine the shipment's whereabouts.

Damaged shipments: If one of your shipments is delivered damaged, you must report this damage within 7 days. In case of damage or partial loss of the shipped goods, the package must be inspected. For this purpose, the recipient must take the shipment as delivered (i.e. with all packaging and contents of the shipment) to a DHL parcel shop. There, a damage report must also be filled out and handed over to the parcel shop. The receipt that the recipient receives after handing over the shipment must be kept and forwarded to the DHL.

Dropping off parcels in a parcel shop

If you want to drop off more than 10 parcels at a parcel shop, please note that not all parcels are scanned directly at the handover. Instead, you should create a pickup report and have it signed by the parcel shop worker.
