Purpose: In this article, we explain the surcharges that CTT Express may apply if you do not follow their shipping requirements.
Please note: The carrier may change the shipping prices and/or surcharges mentioned below, therefore these prices may be subject to change. Even though we aim to inform you to the best of our abilities, no rights can be derived from the information provided below.

| Excess on weight | If your parcel exceeds the maximum weight, a surcharge will apply. |

| Excess on dimensions (maximum size) | If your parcel exceeds the maximum dimensions, a surcharge will apply. |

| Excess on dimensions (one side) | This surcharge will be applied when any of the measures exceeds the maximum permitted. |

| Urgent shipments | For delivery services before 10 AM or on Saturdays before 2 PM, an extra fee will apply. | €1.06 |
| ID (DNI) number validation | If you want to receive a POD that includes the ID number of the person, a surcharge will apply. | €1.43 |
| Assistant/Messenger | This service has a minimum requirement of 1 hour. If you decide to use this service, you'll have to request it via CTT Express directly. You can be invoiced an additional surcharge from expenses generated at Sendcloud. | €32.80 |
| Fourth delivery attempt | There are 3 delivery attempts included. If there's a fourth one needed a surcharge will be applied. | €3.50 |
| Van services | If you have any special requests for pallet delivery, please contact CTT Express directly. These services have an additional cost. |

| Failed collection in Spain or Portugal | A surcharge will be applied for each failed collection in Spain or Portugal. |

| Handling at destination/origin | If the driver has to wait at the destination or origin location, a fee will be charged. The maximum time that a driver will wait is 10 minutes. | €10.89 |
| Multicollo | Shipments to the same address that exceed 5 packages will be charged a surcharge of €1.00 per piece from the 6th package onwards. | €1.00 per package |

| Proof of delivery (POD) | You will receive a surcharge if you request a POD. | €6.71 |
| RWA additional fee | When the address of the shipment is incorrect, manual work from CTT Express is required. This leads to an extra fee. | €13.45 |

| Priority | If you stick a priority sticker on your parcel, an extra fee will apply. | €22.40 |
| Undelivered parcel (returned to sender) | A shipment that could not be delivered to the recipient and was returned to you (the sender) because it couldn't be delivered will receive an additional charge. | The outbound price will be charged. |
| Export processing | Parcels shipped to a destination outside the European Union will be charged an additional fee. | €11.20 |
| Import to the Canary Islands (SAD) | Any goods that enter the Canary Islands are subject to customs import procedures. |

| Non-conveyable parcels | An additional surcharge will apply when the real weight is below 30 kg but any of the measurements exceed L 240 cm x W 120 cm x H 180 cm. | €11.20 |
| Non-stackable parcels |
An additional fee applies to any shipment that contains at least one non-stackable item. Non-stackable means that an item, parcel, or pallet cannot be placed on top of another.

Where can I see these surcharges on my invoice?
Surcharges are applied by the carrier after the shipment has been processed and may not be visible when you create the label.
You can find these charges in your Sendcloud account via Account > Billing, where you can download your invoice in PDF or CSV format:
- PDF invoice: Shows a summary of your total costs, including surcharges.
- CSV invoice: Shows a detailed breakdown per shipment, including the tracking number, shipping cost, and any applied surcharges.
💡 Tip: Use the tracking number in the CSV to identify which shipment a surcharge applies to.
