Purpose: Learn how to connect your DPD carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps.

Activate your own DPD France contract
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth, and Premium.

Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel navigate to Settings > Carriers. Go to the My contracts tab and find DPD from the list. Click Add contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to DPD.
Step 3: Enter your DPD contract details
Complete the form with the information below and click Save when you are done.
- User Id: The User ID is a name, which can contain letters, and ends with SENDCLOUD. Example: TESTSENDCLOUD.
- Password: your password.
- Customer number: contains mainly 5 digits.
- Customer Center Number: contains 3 digits. It begins with 0. The next two digits are the two first digits of the postal code of the deposit center.
Note: The DPD sales team will provide you with the User ID and Password required. Do not hesitate to contact the carrier directly to obtain the credentials.
Your Customer Number and Customer Center Number need to be inserted for each of the methods (Classic, Predict & Relais) that you have in your contract.
If you only have Classic included in your contract only fill out the field for that method and leave the other fields blank.
If you don't know how to obtain any of the information listed above, please contact your DPD account manager for guidance.
Tracking
If you are not receiving tracking updates, please reach out reach out to DPD. Kindly inform them that you are using Sendcloud and request activation of web services and parcel life cycle service. This step should be done before or directly after the contract activation in order for your customers to receive the tracking updates.
Shipping address
Keep in mind that the shipping address that you add in Sendcloud has to be the pick-up address that you have communicated to DPD. If it is not the same one, you might get an error saying that the shipping address postal code does not correspond to the postal code of the DPD center number assigned.
Example: The shipping address in Sendcloud is located at postal code 01000 but the center number is 025. They do not match. You should use postal code 25000.
You have connected your contract
Once you've followed the steps above, your DPD contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform and you can begin shipping on your DPD rates. When you create a label with a DPD shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
Activate DPD France with Sendcloud rates
Before you request a DPD France Sendcloud contract, please check the rates Sendcloud offers with DPD France (see rates) to make sure you want to activate the DPD FR account. In order to ship with this carrier we recommend you ship a minimum of 20 parcels a month.
- In your Sendcloud panel, go to Settings > Carriers and find DPD France in the list of carriers
- Click on Request Sendcloud Rates
- Fill in your Company details, Sender Address and Pickup Details. All of these sections are mandatory as it's required to ship in combination with a DPD FR pickup.
- Once you're done, click on Request Sendcloud DPD FR Contract. Please note that it takes 5 business days to receive the new DPD FR contract credentials and to be able to start shipping.
Activate your shipping methods
Since your contract and the relevant shipping methods are individual, please make sure that the shipping methods you have agreed upon are activated with us. Please note that this does not happen automatically. If you do not see the shipping methods, please contact our support / Live Chat.
