Purpose: This article is a guide on how to add email templates in Magento 2.
How to add a new email template in Magento 2
- In the Magento Admin, navigate to MARKETING > Communications Email Template and click Add New Template.
- At the Load Default Template section, choose the Template * from the dropdown menu and click Load Template.
Please note: templates are already prefilled with the default email markup and Sendcloud data. - When you have chosen for any of the above Sendcloud email templates, you can insert the Sendcloud variables by clicking on the Insert Variable button. This will open a popup with all the variables available for this template.
Please note: When you have chosen for a non Sendcloud email template the variables will not show at the popup like above. However, the variables below are available in the Order and Shipment mail and you can insert them manually.
