PostAT shipping conditions (Austria)

Purpose: In this article, you can find the PostAT shipping conditions. These are the terms and conditions set by PostAT for sending parcels. 

Important note about address change 

If you ship from Austria to Germany, you can't change the delivery address because the carrier partner for this route doesn't allow it.

Post AT Shipping methods

PostAT Home 

The PostAT shipping method offers delivery of national shipments within Austria. Delivery to parcel service points is also possible. 

Characteristics of the shipping method:

• 0-4 kg 
• 4-31.5 kg 
• Maximum weight: 4/31.5 kg 
• Minimum dimensions: 12 x 10 cm
• Maximum dimensions: L 100 x W60 x H 60 cm 
• Maximum dimensions 0-2 kg packages: L 35 x W25 x H3cm
• Maximum length (the longest side): 200 cm 
• Maximum belt dimension: 360 cm*
• maximum insured amount for domestic shipments: €510 
• maximum insured amount for international shipments: €510

If you ship your parcel internationally and exceed the maximum insurance amount of €100, you can add an additional insurance via Sendcloud. You can find more information here.

For Boxable shipping methods, the maximum length is 100 cm. Please note that we do not support unboxable methods that exceed 100 cm in length.

Paket International Outbound Plus

This shipping method is the right choice if you want to ship parcels weighing up to 31.5 kg and you want to get a proof of posting and receipt as well as insurance of up to a maximum of EUR 510. At the time of posting, you will receive proof of posting along with the item number. Parcels will only be given to the addressee if they sign for it and provides electronic proof of receipt.

• 12-20 kg
• 20-31.5 kg 
• Maximum weight: 31.5 kg 
• Minimum dimensions: 14 x 9 cm
• Maximum dimensions: L 100 x W60 x H 60 cm (except for weight class 0-2 kg)
• Maximum length (the longest side): 100 cm 
• Maximum belt dimension: 360 cm*

• Insurance: up to 510 EUR depending on the net-goods-value

• Additional services possible according to individual country specifications
  
• Full Proof of delivery and T&T service

For Boxable shipping methods, the maximum length is 100 cm. Please note that we do not support unboxable methods that exceed 100 cm in length.

**Different limits apply in this weight class. For the most used shipping destinations (e.g: Germany and France), the pricing is applicable up to 31.5kg. For other destinations (e.g: Canada or the United States of America), the shipping costs are based on the weight of the parcel. The dimensions L 35 x W 25 x H 3 cm should not be exceeded.

Fragile shipments

Our PostAT shipping methods do not support fragile packages. This means that all packages, including packages with a fragile sticker, will be processed as a standard shipment. A fragile sticker does not guarantee the shipment will be processed as such. 

No claims can be filed for a shipment with fragile content, as the insurance is void.

Direct contract shipping methods
