PostNord own contract activation

Purpose: Learn how to connect your own PostNord carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps.

 

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription

Sendcloud offers three subscription plans allowing you to use your carrier contract: Lite, Growth, and Premium.

Step 2: Enable your PostNord contract

You can connect your PostNord contract once you have activated a compatible Sendcloud subscription.

  1. In your Sendcloud panel, navigate to Shipping > Carriers > My contracts and click Add your own contract.
  2. Find PostNord in the list and click Add contract.
  3. Enter your Customer ID to validate the connection to the carrier. You can also add a contract name (optional) to help you identify this contract in Sendcloud.

Step 3: Enter your PostNord contract information

To activate your PostNord contract, select the following and click Add this contract:

  • Issuer code: Select the PostNord issuer code for this contract. This information is provided by your PostNord representative.

Important: If you select ZDL International as your issuer code, you must also provide your returns address:

  • Returns name: The address name for your returns address.
  • Return street: The street of your returns address.
  • Returns postal code: The postal code of your returns address.
  • Returns city: The city of your returns address.

This information is provided by your PostNord representative.

Step 4: Add your PostNord rates (optional)

Once your contract is active, you can upload your own PostNord rates to see and compare them directly in the Sendcloud panel.

  1. In the Rates step, enable Upload your prices.
  2. Click Download CSV to get the template, then fill in your agreed prices. For detailed instructions, see How to upload your own contract prices.
  3. Drag and drop the completed CSV file, then click Save these prices.
💡 Tip: Uploading your rates lets you compare your direct contract prices with Sendcloud rates and get shipping method recommendations based on the best price.

Done!

If you have followed the steps above, your PostNord contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform, and you can start shipping at your own PostNord rates. When you create a label with a PostNord shipping method, the label price will display as 0.00 EUR in your account.
