- Wood and metal, sealed packages and films (e.g. bubble wrap) or polystyrene foam.
- Two or more packages were combined into one package with tape or other binding material.
- etc.
Storage costs
Storage costs apply for non-delivered parcels stored at a GLS depot for over 5 days. The fee is €1.08 per day per parcel.
Manual labelling
When the parcel can't be processed due to the label, you receive a surcharge of €0.69. This is because manually GLS needs to print a new label.
Manual coding
If the information on the label is incomplete, you receive a surcharge of €0.69. This is because GLS manually needs to reroute the parcel.
Proof of delivery
POD's are downloadable but if GLS needs to search for very old POD's in paper documents, there will be a fee. The price for this will be per parcel.
