Purpose: Learn how to connect your own Transmission carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps.

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and Premium.

Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel, navigate to Shipping > Carriers > My contracts and click Add your own contract. Find Transmission in the list and click Add contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to the carrier.
Step 3: Enter your Transmission contract information
In order to activate your Transmission contract, fill in the following fields and do not forget to click Add this contract.
- Contract name (optional): A custom name used to identify this contract throughout the platform
- User: Provided by your Transmission account manager
- Password: Provided by your Transmission account manager
- Customer number: Provided by your Transmission account manager
- Depot number: Provided by your Transmission account manager
- Unit type: Select the unit type you use when shipping with Transmission. If you ship using multiple unit types, add a separate Transmission contract for each unit type.
Tracking
The tracking feature will be automatically activated by Transmission, ensuring that your customer can monitor the progress and status of their order delivery.

Technical Limitations
Label Creation Limitation for Bulk Shipments: Submitting more than 50 parcels simultaneously may lead to label creation issues. In some cases, tracking numbers may be reused and assigned to multiple orders, which can cause confusion when monitoring shipment statuses.
Sender Address Display on Transmission Labels: When using Transmission, only the content of the name field is printed on the label as the sender. The company name field is ignored and does not appear on the label. As a result, your company name will be missing unless it's also added to the name field.
Workaround: To make sure your company name is shown on the label, enter it in both the name and company name fields when setting up your sender address.
Done! If you have followed the steps described above, your Transmission contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform, and you can begin shipping on your Transmission rates. When you create a label with a Transmission shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
