InPost Italy surcharges

Purpose: In this article, we explain the surcharges that InPost Italy may apply if you do not follow their shipping requirements.

Please note: The carrier may change the shipping prices and/or surcharges mentioned below, therefore these prices may be subject to change. Even though we aim to inform you to the best of our abilities, no rights can be derived from the information provided below.

Domestic

Shipments to/from Sicily and Sardinia - +5%

If you are shipping to or from Sicily or Sardinia, a surcharge of 5% of the shipping cost will be applied. The additional charge will be reflected on your invoice as a surcharge.

Return to Sender

If a parcel cannot be delivered and must be returned to the sender, the cost of return corresponds to the price of a new shipment.

Possible return reasons:

  • The parcel was not picked up within 3 days.
  • The parcel exceeded the weight limit of 25 kg.
  • The parcel exceeded the maximum allowable dimensions.

International methods

Fuel Surcharge - +2%

A fuel surcharge applies to all international shipments.

Shipments to/from the Balearic Islands and Corsica - €3.20

A fixed surcharge applies to shipments from the Balearic Islands and Corsica.

Shipments to/from Sicily and Sardinia - +5%

If you are shipping to or from Sicily or Sardinia, a surcharge of 5% of the shipping cost will be applied. This surcharge also applies to returns from these locations. The additional charge will be reflected on your invoice as a surcharge.
