
Purpose: Learn how to connect your own Tipsa carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps, and view the shipping services supported by Sendcloud.

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and Premium.

Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel navigate to Shipping > Carriers > My contracts and click Add your own contract. Find Tipsa in the list and click Add contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to the carrier.
Step 3: Enter your Tipsa contract information
Complete the form with the information below and click Add this contract when you are done. We invite you to contact Tipsa should you miss any of the required credentials.

Contract name: This field is optional. You can give a name to the contract in Sendcloud, for example "My Tipsa contract".

Client agency: Agency code number

Note: Tipsa uses API Polling tracking. To ensure you receive tracking updates, make sure to ask your account manager at Tipsa to enable tracking via web services with Sendcloud.

Cancelling Tipsa Shipments
If you want to cancel a shipment with Tipsa, specific permissions need to be enabled. To do this, contact your Tipsa account manager and request activation. They should enable the option to modify or delete shipments in your account settings. Additionally, there is an advanced option in your profile to delete shipments.
Why is it mandatory to include parcel items when creating a label for a shipment to the Balearic Islands?
This is a requirement of the carrier. Tipsa needs the parcel contents for shipments to/from the Balearic Islands when they are transported by air.
Can I add my contract if I ship from Portugal?
Yes, you can. Please make sure that you check with your account executive at Tipsa if everything is correctly set up.
How do I know which shipping methods are included in my contract with Tipsa?
Please contact your account manager at Tipsa to see which methods are enabled.
How do multicollo shipments work?
For multicollo shipments it is recommended to use the shipping methods specifically developed for this purpose (those with the mention "multibulto" in the name). If you select this method, all packages created on the same day for the same delivery address will be automatically grouped together. Please note that Tipsa does not support cash on delivery for multicollo shipments.
Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your Tipsa contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform, and you can begin shipping at your Tipsa rates. When you create a label with a Tipsa shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
