Asendia contract activation (Benelux and Germany)

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription

Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth, Premium.

Step 2: Connect your Asendia account

Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract. 

1. Login to your Sendcloud account and navigate to Shipping > Carriers > My contracts
2. Find Asendia in the list of carriers and click Add contract

Step 3: Enter your Asendia account details

Complete the form with the information below and click Add this contract when you're done.

• Contract name: You may choose a name for your Asendia contract in Sendcloud, like "My Asendia contract", for example.
• CRM ID: Provided by Asendia Account Manager
• Username
• Password
• Client ID - tracking 
• Username - tracking
• Password - tracking
• Hub - Select one of the following options in the drop-down menu: 
  - Asendia Benelux
  - Asendia Germany
  - Direct (only if your shipping volume is so high that you have arranged the injection directly at the carrier in the destination country)

Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform, and you can begin shipping on your Asendia rates. When you create a label using an Asendia shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account. 

When shipping via Asendia, you need to generate an end-of-day manifest and hand this over to the driver along with your items. This will ensure that you are billed correctly. With Sendcloud, you can generate the Asendia Manifest directly in the panel. 

Generate an Asendia Manifest to manually confirm the parcels of the day by following these instructions:

1. In your Sendcloud panel, go to Shipping > Orders
2. Select your shipments in the Created labels
3. Click on Actions at the top right corner and choose Manifest for Asendia
   
   
   
4. Go to Reports and download your Manifest
5. Hand this document to the driver when they pick up your parcels
