How to ship via DPD France with Sendcloud's rates
Important Information Before Requesting a DPD France Sendcloud Contract:
- Check the rates: Ensure you review the rates Sendcloud offers with DPD France to decide if you want to activate the DPD FR account.
- Pickup only (no drop-off): DPD services via Sendcloud are only available with a regular collection (pickup). Drop-off at parcel shops is not supported when using Sendcloud’s DPD rates. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to ship a minimum of 20 parcels per month with DPD.
- Avoid deactivation and penalties: If you do not use the carrier for more than a month after activation, your contract may be deactivated. Additionally, if no shipments are made within the first month, a penalty of 20 EUR per month will be applied. This is because the contract activation requires manual processing by both DPD and Sendcloud.
If you want to start shipping with DPD France using Sendcloud's rates, you can request the activation directly from your Sendcloud panel by going to Shipping > Carriers. After submitting your request, our Customer Support team will contact DPD France to initiate the account setup. Please note that this process can take up to 4–5 business days.

Delivery and collection days
DPD delivers and collects parcels from Monday to Friday. Average delivery times are 24-48h (national) and 48-96h (international).
Signature is included in the rates.
Security fee (participation sûreté) is included in the rates.

Pick-ups
Recurring pickups
Pickups for outgoing shipments are mandatory. Keep in mind that it will take DPD France around 4-5 days to set up the collection for you once you request to ship with this carrier.
In case you want to cancel a collection request for a specific day, you can do so by 17.00 on the day before the collection date.
You can cancel a pickup via the pickup email that DPD has shared with you.
Incidental pickups are not available.
Claims Process
If you ship with Sendcloud's rates, Sendcloud will be the intermediary between you and DPD France. This means that in case of an incident with one of your parcels, we invite you to open a claim directly from the Support panel in your Sendcloud account.
Parcel delayed
No refund of shipping costs.
Delivered but not received
DPD France will reimburse up to 33 € (excl. taxes)/ kg within the limit of the value of the goods. The shipping costs will not be taken into account in this compensation. Every file will be studied individually.
Damaged
DPD France will reimburse up to 33 € (excl. taxes) per kg, within the limit of the value of the goods. Shipping costs are not included in this compensation. Each case will be reviewed individually by DPD.
Damage can be reported in two ways, depending on when it is noticed:
Visible damage: any damage that can be seen on the parcel at the time of delivery. This must be recorded immediately on the driver’s PDA (reservation).
Non-visible damage: damage that is only discovered after delivery. In this case, it must be reported within 3 business days after delivery (motivated protest).
If no damage is recorded at delivery and no follow-up notification is made within 3 business days, no claim can be filed and DPD will not accept the dispute.
Lost
DPD France will reimburse up to 33 € (excl. taxes)/ kg within the limit of the value of the goods. The shipping costs will not be taken into account in this compensation. Every file will be studied individually.
Unjust return
In case of unjustified return, the shipping costs will be refunded as a credit note.
Updates & Cancellation

Label update
Address change:

Parcel not yet shipped: you can easily correct the address by cancelling the original label and creating a new one. Using the "Duplicate" feature can simplify this process.

Steps to Cancel a Shipment or Label:
- Go to the Created Labels overview and select the shipment(s) you wish to cancel.
- In the dropdown menu (next to "Print label"), click "Cancel."
- Confirm the cancellation. The label will automatically move to the "Cancelled" tab.

Steps to Duplicate a Label (for creating a new one with corrections):
- Edit the original label in your panel by clicking on the eye icon next to it.
- Select the "Edit new label" option from the dropdown menu of the "Actions" button.
- Modify the data you need to change (e.g., the address).
- Confirm the label creation.
- You will find the new label in the "Created Labels" tab.

Steps to Cancel a Shipment or Label:
- Parcel Has Already Been Shipped: You will need to contact our Customer Service department directly. They will be able to assist you with the process for an address correction in transit.
Failure to comply with the agreed General Terms & Conditions of Sale of DPD France may result in you receiving a surcharge on your next invoice. When you ship with DPD, you automatically agree to these conditions.
