Purpose: If you have multiple packages or orders to be delivered to the same receiver address, this is a guide on how you can create a multicollo shipment to combine multiple boxes into one delivery.
How to combine packages into a single delivery
To do so, go to the incoming order overview and select the order. Increase the number of shipments to the desired amount. The order will now automatically be handled as a multicollo shipment.
All parcels within the multicollo shipment must be the same weight. It is not possible to have one parcel of 1kg, and another of 5kg, for example.
On the 'Created Labels' view, you will see a label 'multicollo' so you can see which parcels are announced together. By clicking on the parcel and opening the shipment detail view, you will also see the linked shipments.
Each collo or box will be assigned it's own tracking number and receive individual tracking updates. You can view how many shipments are linked to a parcel in the shipment detail view of your panel.
Important: We do not support multicollo shipments to non-EU countries. Moreover, not all carriers and shipping methods support multicollo shipments, even to EU countries. The use of this feature or not affects several aspects of your shipping process such as your invoicing, the track & trace and your shop feedback. You can check if the carriers support multicollo shipments below.
Canceling multicollo shipments
If you cancel any single label in a multicollo shipment, all the shipments associated will be cancelled. If there is a single shipment you do not want to ship, then you must create a new multicollo shipment with a revised amount of parcels.
Multicollo Returns
It’s also possible to create returns for multicollo shipments via the Return Portal.
Based on the tracking number, the returns portal will prompt a user when multiple packages are associated with a tracking number, and then ask them how many boxes will be returned with a shipment. When two or more boxes are selected for return, the correct number of labels will be automatically generated.
