How to find your sender address ID
You can have multiple sender addresses stored in your Sendcloud account, and associate different addresses to different Linnworks account IDs. To find the ID for one of your sender addresses, login to your Sendcloud account and navigate to Settings > Addresses > Sender addresses. Click the stylus iconnext to the sender address you want to associate with this integration. The last six digits which are displayed in the URL is your sender address ID:
- Enter this into the relevant field in the Linnworks integration wizard.
Step 3: Configure Shipping Method Preferences
Now, decide whether you want to use Sendcloud shipping rules or Linnworks shipping rules:
- You need to indicate whether you want to use shipping methods via Sendcloud or via Linnworks:
Use Sendcloud shipping rules - applies Sendcloud shipping rules to your orders.
Don't use Sendcloud shipping rules - if you choose not to use Sendcloud shipping rules, then you will need to create shipping rules in Linnworks (under the Services tab in Integration settings) or manually select a shipping method for all of your orders.
- Click Next to finalize the wizard:
Step 4: Set Up International Shipping Details (Optional)
For international shipments, you can map the property names for customs documentation (e.g., HS codes, country of origin, shipment type such as gift or commercial goods) as they appear in Linnworks. This can be done directly in the integration settings within Linnworks.
Step 5: Add Returns-Only Integration Option
You can enable or disable the Returns-Only Integration option based on your preferences. This toggle gives you flexibility in how you manage returns for orders processed through Sendcloud.
-
If toggled ON:
You can process returns and fully utilize the Sendcloud returns portal for any orders, including those that were not shipped through Sendcloud. This option is useful if you want to manage returns for external shipments outside of Sendcloud while still benefiting from the seamless return process. -
If toggled OFF:
You can manage both outbound shipments and returns. However, you will only have access to the Sendcloud returns portal for orders that were originally shipped via the Sendcloud integration. This option is best for businesses that primarily use Sendcloud for shipping but also handle returns for other non-Sendcloud shipments separately.
Step 6: Finalize Integration and Test
Make sure the integration is complete and test by processing a few orders. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team.
