Purpose: This article explains the surcharges that may apply when shipping from Denmark with Bring using Sendcloud rates.
All surcharges in this article are in Danish kroner (DKK).
Always enter the correct parcel weight, dimensions, and recipient details when creating a shipment. Incorrect or incomplete information may result in additional charges.
Fuel, sulfur & seasonal surcharges
Bring adds variable surcharges for fuel and sulfur, and may apply seasonal surcharges during busy periods.
Fuel and sulfur surcharge
Bring adds a fuel and sulfur surcharge to the shipping price. The surcharge is variable and is adjusted continuously. For the current rate, see Bring's price page.
Season surcharge
Bring may apply a season surcharge to certain services during peak season, for example when volumes increase or transport capacity is limited. Bring publishes the details and rate at least 30 days before the surcharge takes effect.

📐 Parcel dimensions & weight
Additional charges may apply when a parcel exceeds Bring's standard dimensions or weight, or requires special handling.
Special handling fee DKK 127
A fee of DKK 127 may apply to parcels that Bring can't handle according to standard procedures, for example:
- Parcels longer than 120 cm.
- Parcels with two sides that are each longer than 60 cm.
- Parcels with a side shorter than the minimum dimensions (15 x 10 x 1 cm).
- Parcels with an irregular shape, such as rolls or tubes.
- Parcels with insufficient packaging.
Oversize fee for parcel dimensions DKK 331
A fee of DKK 331 may apply to parcels longer than 200 cm, or with a combined length and girth above 300 cm.
Oversize fee for parcel weight DKK 521
A fee of DKK 521 may apply to parcels with an actual weight above 35 kg.
Oversize fee for pallets DKK 452
A fee of DKK 452 may apply to pallets that exceed the permitted weight or dimensions.
Heavy fee Sweden DKK 53
A fee of DKK 53 applies to Home Delivery Parcel shipments to Sweden with an actual weight between 20 and 35 kg.
Heavy fee Finland DKK 127
A fee of DKK 127 applies to parcels to and from Finland with an actual weight between 25 and 35 kg.
📦 Shipment data & labeling
Additional charges may apply when the shipment data (Electronic Data Interchange, or EDI) or the shipping label doesn't meet Bring's requirements, or when a shipment is booked with the wrong service.
Delayed shipment data DKK 50
A fee of DKK 50 applies when Bring receives the correct shipment data too late, and the shipment must be stored and sorted again.
Produced shipment data DKK 114
A fee of DKK 114 applies when Bring doesn't receive the correct shipment data on time and creates the shipment data instead.
Unreadable barcode DKK 64
A fee of DKK 64 applies when the barcode on the shipping label is unreadable, hidden, or placed incorrectly.
Correction to service point DKK 12
A fee of DKK 12 applies to parcels booked for a parcel locker that are delivered to a service point because they exceed the parcel locker's weight or size limits.
Correction to another service DKK 66
A fee of DKK 66 applies when a parcel is booked incorrectly and Bring changes it to another service.
📮 Delivery & address
Additional charges may apply for incorrect addresses, notifications, changes to a shipment, extra delivery attempts, and returns of undeliverable shipments.
Incorrect or incomplete address DKK 81
A fee of DKK 81 applies when the address is incorrect, invalid, or incomplete, or when the shipment is addressed to a P.O. box.
Always verify the recipient's address before creating the shipping label.
Letter notification
When Bring can't notify the recipient digitally, for example because recipient information is missing, Bring sends a letter notification. The following fee applies per notification:

Always include the recipient's email address or phone number to avoid this fee.
Change request DKK 19
A fee of DKK 19 applies when you request a change to the recipient details or address. Additional shipping costs apply when the shipment is sent to a new address.
Stop request DKK 19
A fee of DKK 19 applies when you request Bring to stop a shipment and return it to you. Return shipping costs also apply.
Foodstuffs control DKK 113
A fee of DKK 113 applies to shipments to Norway that contain goods classified as foodstuffs.
Additional delivery attempt DKK 48
A fee of DKK 48 applies to each delivery attempt after the first attempt for a Home Delivery Parcel shipment in Sweden.
Return of undeliverable shipments
Shipments that can't be delivered are returned to the sender. The return is charged at the same price as the outgoing shipment.
🌍 Location-based surcharges
Additional charges may apply when delivering to specific areas.
City surcharge DKK 3.60 per parcel
A city surcharge applies to certain services delivered to Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden.

A surcharge of DKK 232 applies to shipments to and from Svalbard.
Important notes
- Surcharges are applied in addition to the standard shipping rate.
- Several surcharges may apply to the same shipment when several conditions are met.
- Always provide accurate parcel weight, dimensions, destination, and contact information.
- Bring may update surcharge amounts or conditions.
