Purpose: Learn how to connect your own DAO Denmark contract with your Sendcloud account.
If you have your own contract with DAO, you can connect it to your Sendcloud account and ship using the rates and conditions agreed upon directly with the carrier.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and Premium.

Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your DAO contract.
- In your Sendcloud account, go to Shipping > Carriers.
- Search for DAO in the list of available carriers.
- Click Add contract.
- You will be redirected to the contract activation page, where you can enter your DAO account details.
Step 3: Enter your DAO account details
To activate your DAO contract, enter the following credentials:
- Customer ID: Your DAO customer ID, also called kundenr.
- API Password: Your DAO API password (code), issued alongside your Customer ID.
- Client ID: Your DAO Keycloak client ID, used for label printing.
- Client Secret: Your DAO Keycloak client secret, issued alongside your Client ID.
Important: All the credentials required to activate your contract are provided directly by DAO. Contact your DAO account manager to request them. Your Client ID and Client Secret may be issued separately from your Customer ID and API Password.
Once you've entered all the required details, click Add this contract to complete the activation.
Your DAO contract is now connected to your Sendcloud account, and you can start shipping with the DAO shipping methods available for your contract.
