Purpose: Learn how to connect your own FedEx Cross Border carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in these easy steps.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and the Premium plan.
For more information regarding which plan is best for you and the needs of your business, you can always contact us via the support section of your Sendcloud account or click here.
Step 2: Connect your FedEx Cross Border contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel navigate to Shipping > Carriers. Find FedEx Cross Border in the list of carriers and press enable. Then go to the My contracts tab and find FedEx Cross Border again from the list; click Add contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to FedEx Cross Border.
Step 3: Enter your FedExCross Border account details
After completing step 2, you need to fill out your account details.
- Email address: fill out the email address that is used to login via Sendcloud.
- API Key - EU Hub (for users in NL): FedEx Cross Border will provide you with the API Key. When you ship from the Netherlands you can use this field to fill the API key
- API Key - UK Hub (for users in the UK): FedEx Cross Border will provide you with the API Key. When you ship from the United Kingdom you can use this field to fill the API key
Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your FedEx Cross Border contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform and you can begin shipping on your FedEx Cross Border rates. When you create a label with a FedEx Cross Border shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
