Budbee contract activation

Purpose: Learn how to connect your own Budbee carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps. 

Budbee is only available through Sendcloud when you have a direct contract. In order to get a contract you need 2000+ shipments a month. Please reach out to Budbee for more information.

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription 

Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth, Premium.

Step 2: Connect your Budbee contract 

Do you already have your own direct carrier contract with Budbee? If so, you can connect your Budbee account with Sendcloud to continue shipping on your own negotiated shipping rates. To connect your Budbee account:

  1. Log in to your Sendcloud account
  2. Navigate to Shipping > Carriers
  3. Find Budbee in the list of carriers and click Enable own contract

Step 3: Enter your Budbee account details

Complete the form* with the information below and click Add this contract when you're done.

  • Contract name: You may choose a name for your Budbee contract in Sendcloud, like "My Budbee contract", for example.
  • API Key
  • API Secret
  • Collection ID

*You can find this information in your Budbee account information, or contact your Budbee sales advisor for assistance. Information about shipping with Budbee can be found here. 

Please note: Budbee uses collection IDs to determine the sender address. If you have both a Dutch and a Belgian collection ID, only one of these will be visible. You must create two seperate Sendcloud accounts in order to manage both your Dutch and Belgian collection IDs and thus have Dutch and Belgian sender addresses appear on the label respectively.
