Purpose: Learn how to connect your own Colissimo carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps.
Colissimo Secure Home Delivery by Code:
Sendcloud is now compatible with Colissimo Secure Home Delivery by Code (Livraison à domicile sécurisée par code). This feature automatically adds a secure delivery code to eligible Home Signature shipments, helping to reduce delivery claims significantly. Once enabled on your contract and correctly configured, it is applied automatically (no manual action is required when creating labels).
Important information
- Colissimo must activate this feature at the contract level.
- Available only for Home Deliveries (B2C) and applies to eligible Home Signature services. Business (B2B) deliveries are excluded.
- The recipient’s email address and mobile number are required. Secure delivery will be disabled if the email is missing or if only a landline number is provided.
- If secure delivery is disabled due to missing recipient data, you can still create the shipment and label, but it will be processed without Secure Home Delivery by Code.
- When setting up your Colissimo contract in Sendcloud, you can define a minimum and maximum shipment value to control when Secure Delivery by Code is applied.
- The secure delivery code is communicated to the recipient by Colissimo (via email/SMS). The sending time and communication flow are managed by Colissimo.

Pre-requisites for connecting your Colissimo contract
1. Password renewal
The first time you connect to the Colissimo Box platform, you must change your password. You will need this new unique password to connect your contract to your Sendcloud account.
2. Colissimo "Flexibility solution"/"solution Flexibilité"
To successfully connect your contract with Sendcloud you must first activate the Colissimo Flexibility solution. This option will allow for the connection between your Sendcloud account and the Colissimo Webservices. Please contact your account manager at Colissimo to activate this option in your account.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and the Premium plan.

Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel navigate to Shipping > Carriers. Click on the My contracts tab. Click Add your own contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to Colissimo.
Step 3: Enter your Colissimo account details
Complete the form with the information below and click "Save" when you are done.
- Contract name (optional)
- Account number
- Password
OPTIONAL:
- API key*
- Colissimo enterprise username
- Colissimo enterprise password
- Minimum value for Blocking Code (Secure Home Delivery by Code)
- Maximum value for Blocking Code (Secure Home Delivery by Code)

*You can retrieve your API key by following the steps below:
- Go to your Colissimo account
- Go to My Account > Manage users
- Select the Pen icon next to the user you want to view the API Key for
- The API key will be displayed in the field Web services application key
Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your Colissimo contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform and you can begin shipping with your own Colissimo rates. When you create a label with a Colissimo shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
