Purpose: If you connect your BigCommerce webshop with Sendcloud you can benefit from our all-in-one shipping solution while offering additional services such as delivery to a local service point to your customers at checkout. In this article we talk you through the simple steps involved in enabling service points in your Sendcloud platform.
Step 1: Activating Service Points in the panel
1. In your Sendcloud account, go to Settings > Integrations and click on the pen to change settings of your shop.
2. Tick the box "Service Point" and the carrier for which you want to activate this delivery option.
Step 2a: Setting up a simple shipping method in BigCommerce
1. Navigate to Sendcloud application in your webshop to set up shipping methods that will be used as service point delivery shipping methods.
2. Click on the toggle switch to enable a simple shipping method, enter an appropriate name and price and click on the + to save the configuration. The prefix 'Sendcloud' will be added to the shipping method name. This also means that it will be visible for your customers in the checkout.
Step 2b: Setting up an advanced shipping method in BigCommerce
1. Navigate to Sendcloud application in your webshop to set up shipping methods that will be used as service point delivery shipping methods
2. Click on the toggle switch to enable an advanced shipping method, enter an appropriate name and price and click on the + to save the configuration. Make sure to select a shipping zone from the list.
