Purpose: Learn how to connect your own Dachser carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions that allow you to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth, and Premium.
For more information on which plan best suits your business, feel free to contact us via the Support section in your Sendcloud account or visit our website.
Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you’ve activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel, go to Shipping > Carriers > My contracts.
Click Add your own contract.
Find Dachser in the list and click Add contract.
You will be prompted to enter the necessary credentials to validate the connection.
Step 3: Enter your Dachser contract information
To activate your Dachser contract, fill in the following fields, then click Add this contract:
Contract name (optional): You can give your contract a name in Sendcloud, for example, "My Dachser contract".
X-API-Key: Provided by Dachser.
Dachser Branch ID (optional): Enter the 3-letter ID of the DACHSER branch responsible for collecting and dispatching your shipments.
Order group: Use order groups to split invoices if needed. This setting does not affect transport conditions or shipment handling.
Packing type: Select the packaging type you use for your DACHSER shipments. If you ship with more than one packaging type, add a separate DACHSER contract for each one.
You can find the required credentials in the Dachser e-Logistics portal.

Done!
If you’ve followed the steps above, your Dachser contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform. You can begin shipping using your Dachser rates. When you create a label with a Dachser shipping method, the label price will now appear as 0.00 EUR in your account.
