Connect TikTok Shop to Sendcloud
Before connecting TikTok Shop to Sendcloud, make sure you already have a Sendcloud account. If you need help setting up an account with Sendcloud, please use our Getting started with Sendcloud article.
Step 1: Authorizing Sendcloud
- Open the TikTok app Marketplace or go to Growth center > App store in your TikTok Shop account.
- Find the Sendcloud application and click on Install.
- After clicking Install, you will be redirected to your seller (shop) account. If you are not logged in yet, you will be prompted to log in first. Once you are logged in, the Install popup will appear (see screenshot).
- Fill in your information and click on the Confirm to install button. It will trigger the Authorise, where you can Authorise Sendcloud to certain conditions (see screenshot).
Once the authorization is completed, you can click on Done.
Step 2: Connecting to Sendcloud
- You will be redirected to Sendcloud. If you are not logged in to Sendcloud yet, you can now login.
- Click on the Connect button.
- You will now be redirected to the Configuration tab. Here you can configure your customs information and carrier mapping. Continue reading at Step 3: Configuration for more information.
Step 3: Configuration
In the configuration, you can map certain values. These will be your default settings.
Default values for international shipping:
- Shipment type - you can select the shipment type on the configuration page. The default value is Commercial goods. The other options are None, Gifts, Documents, Commercial Goods, Commercial Sample, and Returned Goods.
- Country - default country of origin.
- HS code - default HS code.
Carrier mapping:
This configuration is used to update tracking information in TikTok. Once the parcel status is updated in Sendcloud, TikTok's tracking information will also be updated, including the tracking ID and shipping provider.
On the left, you find a list of the Sendcloud carriers you have enabled in your Sendcloud account. On the right, you find dropdowns with a list of carriers that you have enabled for your TikTok Shop account. If None is set, the carrier is not properly mapped, or the shipping provider is not supported for the order's warehouse and delivery option. In this case, the tracking information will not be sent to TikTok Shop.
Once you are done mapping, you can click on Save. The connection between TikTok Shop and Sendcloud is now established!
