Purpose: Learn how to connect your DHL eCommerce carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps. DHL eCommerce is available for the following countries: Italy, France and Austria.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own carrier contract: Lite, Growth, Premium.

Step 2: Enable your DHL eCommerce contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel, navigate to Shipping > Carriers. Go to the My contracts tab and find DHL eCommerce from the list. Click Add your own contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to DHL eCommerce.
Step 3: Enter your DHL eCommerce account details
Complete the form with the needed information below and click Add this contract. The information will be provided via DHL onboarding IT, or can be requested by your DHL eCommerce account manager.
- Contract name: You can name your DHL eCommerce contract in Sendcloud, such as "My DHL eCommerce contract."
- API ClientID
- API Secret
- Customer Identification: Also known as EKP Nr
- Customer Account Nr: Optional and, if needed, provided by your DHL eCommerce account manager.

Location ID: Optional for your return setup and, if needed, provided by your DHL eCommerce account manager.

Direct Injection Country - Optional and, if needed, provided by your DHL eCommerce account manager. In ISO 3166 format (2 letters).

Direct Injection Gateway City: Optional and, if needed, provided by your DHL eCommerce account manager.

Direct Injection Postal Code: Optional and, if needed, provided by your DHL eCommerce account manager.
Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform, and you can begin shipping at your DHL eCommerce rates. When you create a label using a DHL eCommerce shipping methods, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
