Purpose: Learn how to connect your own DHL Parcel Iberia carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three steps.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and the Premium plan.

Step 2: Enable your carrier contract
Once you have activated a Sendcloud subscription, you can connect your carrier contract.
In your Sendcloud panel navigate to Settings > Carriers. Go to the My contracts tab and find DHL Parcel Iberia from the list. Click Add contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to DHL Parcel Iberia.
Step 3: Enter your DHL Parcel contract details
Fill in the required fields listed below and click ✓ Add this contract when done:
- Contract name (optional): You may choose a name for your DHL Parcel Iberia contract in Sendcloud, like "My DHL Parcel Iberia contract", for example.
- Username (webservices)
- Password (webservices)
- Account number (client account number): first 2 digits of the postal code - 6 digits. Example: An account number from a client based in Madrid could be 28-001234.
Note: To request the credentials above, contact your Account Manager at DHL Parcel Iberia. You will receive an email from the DHL Parcel IT Team with all the necessary information.
- Automatic end of day confirmation (optional): Check the box if you want Sendcloud to send an automatic end of day confirmation of the labels created in a day to the carrier. Read more in the next section of this article.
DHL Parcel Iberia requires an end-of-day confirmation of the parcels that will be shipped. If you prefer to set up end-of-day validation directly with the carrier, contact DHL Parcel Iberia directly to arrange your own fixed validation setup.
In Sendcloud, you have two ways of sending this confirmation to the carrier: automatically or manually.
Automatic end-of-day confirmation
Check the box called "Automatic end of day confirmation" in the contract activation page and click ✓ Add this contract. Once it is active, Sendcloud will automatically send a confirmation of all the labels created in a day to the carrier. This will be sent at 18h00 CET.
To manually confirm the parcels of the day, follow these instructions:
- In your Sendcloud panel, go to Shipping and then go to the Reports tab
- Click Generate DHL Parcel Iberia Manifest
- Refresh the page
- Download manifest by clicking the download icon on the right
- Hand this document to the driver when they pick up your parcels
To enable tracking with Sendcloud, make sure you request DHL Parcel Iberia to enable All Events Tracking for Sendcloud.
Tracking updates will be received once the end-of-day validation has been enabled or after the set time each user has agreed with DHL Parcel Iberia.

What to do if you have more than one DHL Parcel Iberia account number
If you have more than one account number and want to ship from different sender addresses, please read the section below that applies to your case:
Accounts from the same province
To ship from two different sender addresses that are located in the same province, you can use the same contract. This means that you only have to connect one contract in your Sendcloud account, as username and password must be the same for all the accounts in the same province.
Accounts from different provinces
To ship from several sender addresses that are located in different provinces, you must request a DHL Parcel Iberia password and username for each province. Then, you have to add a contract for each province. To do this, contact our support team and request activation of the multi-contract feature. Once that feature is enabled, you will be able to add several DHL Parcel Iberia contracts, one per province. Follow the instructions in Step 2 to add a contract.
Shipping to the Canary Islands
To ship to the Canary Islands, make sure you manually add the receiver's NIF (VAT) number to the commercial invoice. You can write it by hand once the document is printed.
Shipping to Norway
To ship to the Norway, make sure you manually add the receiver's citizen number to the commercial invoice. You can write it by hand once the document is printed.
Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform, and you can begin shipping on your DHL Parcel Iberia rates. When you create a label using a DHL Parcel Iberia method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
