Bring shipping conditions (Denmark)

Purpose: This article explains the shipping conditions for Bring, including shipping methods, return shipping methods, claims, and package content restrictions for shipments within Denmark and returns from Sweden to Denmark.

Shipping methods

Special conditions

Recipient notification: Always include the recipient's email address or phone number. Bring uses these to notify the recipient when the parcel is ready to collect. If Bring can't notify the recipient digitally, Bring sends a letter notification for an additional fee. Shipments to P.O. boxes aren't allowed, and Bring can charge additional fees for incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Collection period: Parcels are available for collection for 7 days. The recipient can redirect the parcel to another service point or parcel locker. Parcels that aren't collected in time are returned to you at your expense.

Delivery exceptions: If the selected service point or parcel locker is full, Bring can deliver the parcel to another service point or parcel locker. Parcels that exceed the weight or size limits can be reclassified and charged as a Home Delivery Parcel.

Pick-ups

Pick-up isn't possible with Bring. Drop off your shipments at a Bring service point instead. For more information, see the Drop-offs section.

Drop-offs

Drop off your shipments at a Bring service point. You can drop off up to 20 parcels at a time.

To find a drop-off point near you, see the Bring service point map.

Claims process

To start an investigation or file a claim, see How do I start an investigation or file a claim for my parcel?

Claim deadlines & required documentation

For damaged parcels, always provide proof of the damage.

Compensation policy

Special Drawing Rights (SDR) is an international unit of value set by the International Monetary Fund. For example, the maximum compensation for a lost 5 kg parcel is 41.65 SDR, even if the goods are worth more.

Resolution time (estimated)

Once the claim is submitted to the carrier, we typically receive a response within 14 days. Please note that this is an indicative timeline, and the actual resolution time is subject to the carrier's internal processes and can vary.

Sendcloud insurance

Do you want to insure your shipments for a higher value? This is possible with the help of our insurance: Sendcloud Shipping Protection (XCover).

More information is available in our Help Center article: How do I start an investigation or file a claim for my parcel?

Surcharges

The carrier will apply surcharges to your invoice if a parcel you ship does not meet the criteria laid out in their shipping conditions. We have created the following article so you can take all necessary action to avoid having to pay unwanted surcharge fees on your invoice: Bring surcharges (Denmark)
