Purpose: Once you have created your Sendcloud account, you're required to set up payment via direct debit so you can start shipping your first label.
Already set up your direct debit, but need to change your account number? Click here for help.
Step 1: Set up Direct Debit
Log in to your Sendcloud account and go to Account > Billing. Select the "Recurring payment method tab" tab - you will see the message displayed below. Press "Enable direct debit".
Step 2: Recurring payment contract
You will be redirected to the page of the payment provider. Here you can fill in your payment credentials and make a 1,00€ payment to authorise your bank details.
Step 3: Receive your €1 refund
After your payment has been successfully authorised, we'll automatically refund the €1.00 to the same payment method you used.
The time it takes to receive your refund depends on your payment method and can range from instantly up to 7 days.
- iDEAL and credit card: the refund is usually processed within 1 day.
- SEPA Direct Debit: the refund can take up to 7 days to be processed due to limitations of the SEPA network and payment processors. This delay is outside of Sendcloud's control.
Done! Once the payment has been authorised, your direct debit is activated and linked to your Sendcloud account. From now on, all shipping costs and any paid subscription fees will be collected automatically, so you can continue using Sendcloud without interruptions.
