TNT Italy contract activation

Purpose: Learn how to connect your own TNT carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in a few easy steps.

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription 

Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and Premium.

Step 2: Register on myTNT

Once you have your carrier contract with TNT, you need to be registered on myTNT to integrate it with Sendcloud. To register, follow these steps:

1. Go to myTNT Italy registration page
2. Fill in the registration form
3. Click Send when done

When your registration is approved, you will receive a confirmation email from the carrier with your credentials to log into myTNT. This may take up to 24 hours. In this email, you will get a temporary password that you can use to log into your myTNT account for the first time.

Step 3: Get the necessary credentials to integrate your contract in Sendcloud

To connect your carrier contract with Sendcloud you will need the following credentials: 

• User ID: It must always be "SENDCLOUD". To create your User ID (SENDCLOUD), log into your myTNT account and navigate to Area Personale > Gestione utenti > Crea. Here you can create your profile.
  Secret: Password you use to access myTNT. This is the new password that you will have to create after you access your myTNT account with the temporary one.
• Customer ID: ID received upon registration in myTNT (letter + 5 digits)
• Domestic Sender Account ID: Code for national shipments. It can found in your carrier contract or in myTNT (8 digits)
• International Sender Account ID: Code for international shipments. It can found in your carrier contract or in myTNT (9 digits)

Activate TNT web service

Once you have created your myTNT profile, you will have to make sure that it is associated with Sendcloud via TNT web service. To request web service activation, send an email to italytech@fedex.com with your TNT Account Manager in copy (Cc.). Do not forget to mention that you will be shipping with Sendcloud and to share your User ID (SENDCLOUD).

Step 4: Enable your carrier contract in Sendcloud

Once your Sendcloud subscription and TNT web service are active, and you have all the necessary credentials, go to your Sendcloud panel and navigate to Shipping > Carriers. Go to the My contracts tab and find TNT in the list. Click Add contract. Here you can add the credentials needed to validate the connection to TNT.

It is mandatory to insert at least one of the two IDs (domestic or international). You can fill in both if you ship domestically and internationally.

Don't forget to click Add this contract when done.

Direct contract shipping methods

Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your TNT contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform and you can begin shipping on your TNT rates. When you create a label with a TNT shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
