Poste Italiane Crono
The Crono range is designed specifically with the needs of e-commerce businesses who regularly ship parcels up to a maximum weight of 30kg within Italy in mind.

- Maximum weight: 30kg
- Max dimensions: L + W + H = 150cm
- Max length: 100cm
Voluminoso (large) box format:
- Maximum weight: 30kg
- Max dimensions: L + W + H = 220cm
- Max length: 150cm
Puntoposte:
- Maximum weight: 15kg
- Max dimensions: L + W + H = 36x37x56cm
Characteristics
- Parcels normally delivered within 4 working days within the Italian territory, excluding Livigno-Trepalle; Campione D'Italia, San Marino and Vatican City
- Delivery of the parcel to the receipient or authorised person at the address indicated on the shipping label
- Two delivery attempts; after the first delivery attempt, notice will be given - the second delivery attempt will take place the following working day (or when available, depending on the location)
- After two failed delivery attempts, a calling card will be left noting that the parcel will be delivered to a post office where it can be collected within 10 working days
- Signature upon receipt required
- Home delivery or delivery to a post office or;
- Delivery to an active PuntoPoste or PuntoPoste locker
- Shipments to post offices are also availble for collection on Saturdays during opening hours

Characteristics
- Prices vary depending on weight, delivery area (product sheet, allegato 1, p. 8) and annual shipping volumes. Always actual weight is invoiced and no fuel surcharge is applied to the invoice.
- Delivery to the recipient's home or t o the foreign post office through the Fermoposta or PO Box service in the countries qualified for the service. To find the list of countries where the service is not available, consult the product sheet ( Allegato 5, p. 13 - countries not qualified for Fermoposta, p. 14 - countries not qualified for PO box) .
- Delivery times within Europe: 3 working days (for some postal codes of Norway and Portugal 3-5 days),in addition to the pick-up day (excluding customs formalities for Extra EU Countries).
- Rest of the world: 3-5 working days, in addition to the pick-up day (excluding customs formalities for Extra EU Countries).
- In case of absent recipient the service ensures one / two delivery attempts, depending on the destination country. Please consult the following document for further information about shipping conditions per Country.
- In case of absence of the recipient, a notice of non-delivery is left in the recipient's mailbox on which the date and time of the delivery attempt are reported, the office where the shipment is in holding and the deadline for collection.
- Undelivered parcels are kept free of charge by foreign postal operators for an average of 15 days (including Saturdays and holidays).
- The customer, through the toll-free number 800.160.000, can release the shipment for free.
- At the end of the storage period the shipment will be returned to the sender.

Each parcel must present a label with all the necessary shipping information completed on the longest side. Sendcloud is not responsible for any consequence arising from a missing, incomplete or incorrect indication of the required shipping information.
Surcharges
Poste Italiane does not apply surcharges to parcels which fail to meet the standard shipping conditions. Rather, parcels which cannot be delivered due to the reasons listed below will be returned to the sender at full cost (initial delivery + return delivery cost). We therefore advise you to carefully read the terms below, plus the general terms and conditions, to avoid unwanted returns costs or failed delivery attempts.
- Parcels which have had two failed delivery attempts due to the recipient not being at home at the time of the delivery will be stored at a local Post Office
- Parcels will be held at the Post Office for a maximum of 10 days including Saturdays, after which point they will be returned to the sender
- Parcels where the delivery address is illegible, incorrect or incomplete will be stored for 3 days, during which the sender can request a new delivery attempt following provision of correct information
- After these three days if there's no further indication from the sender, the parcel will be returned or abandoned
- Parcels in which the maximum weight or dimensions are exceeded will be returned to the sender undelivered
- A recipient can choose to refuse a parcel bu signing either the shipping label or other provided documentation
Claims procedure
- You can file a claim within 20 days from the dispatch date by opening a support ticket from your Sendcloud platform. See here for help.
- All shipments with Poste Italiane have a standard coverage of 1.00€ per kg + shipping costs (net of VAT) in case of loss, damage or theft
- Poste is not responsible for suspensions of the service/ delays due to reasons of force majeure, such as any event or cause not directly imputable to Poste (e.g. armed robbery, public authority measures, wars, revolutions, insurrections, civil unrest, strikes or other industrial disputes, lockouts or embargo, power supply interruptions, floods, natural disasters, epidemics).
