As the coronavirus is spreading through Europe, governments and companies are taking measures to prevent a further outbreak. With this message we want to inform you about the measures taken and how it impacts Sendcloud and our partners.
Impact on Sendcloud
Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees and their families. Next to that we have the responsibility to support and protect our communities, those who are vulnerable, and the healthcare providers who are on the front lines of this pandemic. That’s why from March 16 we will close our offices (in both Eindhoven and Munich) and have our employees work from home.
We’ve provided our employees with a variety of resources and guides to continue to get their job done working remotely. However, it might occur that the average response time on tickets, live chat or phone calls might be a bit higher than usual.
We also suspended all domestic and international travel as well as in-person meetings, events and customer visits. Where possible we replaced these by calls and/or video-conferences to ensure business continuity.
Impact on parcel delivery
At this moment, the delivery of parcels is not affected although some parcel destinations may experience delays but are not restricted. Keep an eye on our help center article regarding the impact of Covid-19 on our carriers which we will continuously update the upcoming days and weeks.
