Colis Privé shipping conditions (France)

Purpose: view the shipping conditions of French last-mile delivery service provide, Colis Privé. 

Home delivery within France (direct contract only)

Service Presentation

Home delivery service, which aims to keep recipients fully informed of every step of the delivery journey by email and text. Please note that this is a distinct and operationally different service from shipping method Small Pro Domicile (see below) and is only available if you have a direct contract with the carrier. 

Shipping method features:

• Additional service: signature on delivery 
• Aims to deliver within 24-48 hours 
• If the recipient is not available at the first delivery attempt, they can choose to have the parcel redelivered to a PUDO point, abriscolis locker third party or 2nd home delivery ( €0.15 )
• Abriscolis lockers available 24/7 for convenient pick up 

Characteristics of the parcel:

• Maximum dimensions (length + width + height): 150 cm
• Maximum length: 100 cm 
• Maximum weight: 30 kg 

Small Pro Point Relais*

Service Presentation

D rop your parcels off at a Colis Privé service point to have them delivered to another service point where your customer can collect the parcel. 

If you have a direct contract with Colis Privé, you can connect it with Sendcloud by entering your control key (API key). 

Shipping method features:

• B2C only
• Domestic delivery within France
• Delivery days: Tuesday-Saturday
• Transit time: 1-2 business days
• The recipient phone number is considered mandatory information 

Characteristics of the parcel (mandatory information): 

• Maximum dimensions (length + width + height): 150 cm
• Maximum length: 100 cm 
• Maximum weight: 20 kg 

*Sendcloud supports Small Pro Point Relais for small customers as the only shipping method in service point with Colis Privé.. We currently don't offer support for Colis Privé Relais/Store, and are not planning to do so on the short term. 

Small Pro Domicile

Service Presentation

Drop your parcels off at a Colis Privé service point to have it delivered to your customer's home address. If you have a direct contract with Colis Privé, you can connect it with Sendcloud by entering your control key (API key). 

Shipping method features:

• B2C only
• Signature not required by default, but can be added for an additional surcharge using the shipping method Small Pro Domicile Signature
• 1 delivery attempt included, with the 2nd delivery attempt resulting in an additional surcharge of €0.15
• The recipient phone number is considered mandatory information 
• Delivery days: Tuesday-Saturday
• Transit times: 1-2 business days
• Domestic deliveries within France

• Maximum length: 100 cm 
• Maximum weight: 20 kg 

Home Delivery to Belgium/Luxembourg

Service Presentation

For delivery to your customer's home address in Belgium or Luxembourg.

• If you don't have a direct contract with Colis Privé, drop your parcels off at the Colis Privé hub in Willebroek to be delivered to the customer.
• If you are shipping your own direct carrier contract and your contract includes this shipping method, contact your account manager for details on whether to drop your parcels off at the Willebroek hub, or whether you should arrange a carrier pick-up. 

Please note: If you want to connect your own contract, you should insert the following credentials into the relevant fields to use this shipping method:

• Username BE
• Password BE
• Customer ID BE (also known as Colis Privé account); and
• Account ID  BE

• 1 delivery attempt included, with the 2nd delivery attempt resulting in an additional surcharge of €0.15

Direct contract shipping methods

If you have a direct contract with Colis Privé, you can easily integrate it with your Sendcloud account. Our Colis Privé Contract Activation guide explains how to connect your direct contract. This setup allows you to ship under your own terms and conditions.

Restrictions

When sending parcels by Private Parcel via Sendcloud, you agree not to send any goods prohibited by law or subject to a ban on national or international routing. The shipment of goods considered/classified as "dangerous" is strictly prohibited. Paris Privé may refuse to ship goods that are considered to be dangerous and may pose a human or material risk.

The shipment of the following goods, moreover, is formally prohibited:

• War material or equivalents, weapons, precious metals, currency, precious stones and jewelry, stamps, human beings or animals, live insects, funeral ashes and relics, organs, food and frozen food products, antiques, art, paintings and all other products indicated in the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road.

Like every carrier, Colis Privé has prepared a document about their General Transport Conditions. If you deviate from the conditions, a surcharge will be charged on your invoice afterward. When you send with Colis Privé, you automatically agree to the following conditions:
