Sending parcels within the Netherlands

Extra fast delivery within the Netherlands on the next working day before 9 a.m. These shipments can be handed in at a DHL (Express) service point, but it is also possible to plan a pick-up if you have at least 5 packages. The shipments must be returned or collected before 3 p.m.
Shipping method features:
- Door to door delivery before 9 a.m. on the first possible working day
- 'On Demand Delivery'
- The shipment will be returned after 3 delivery attempts.
- The shipment is NOT insured by default. In cases of loss / damage you are eligible for a KG reimbursement.
- DHL Express offers shipping methods that aim to deliver before a certain time (see below). They do everything to deliver these shipments on time. No rights can be derived from the fact that a shipment is delivered too late.
Characteristics of the parcel:

DHL Express Worldwide
Service Presentation
Extra fast delivery worldwide before the end of the next working day. These shipments can be handed in at a DHL (Express) service point, but it is also possible to plan a pick-up if you have at least 5 packages. The shipments must be returned or collected before 3 p.m.

- Available worldwide at all collection and delivery locations
- 'On Demand Delivery'
- The shipment will be returned after 3 delivery attempts.
- The shipment is NOT insured by default. In cases of loss / damage you are eligible for a KG reimbursement.
- DHL Express offers shipping methods that aim to deliver before a certain time (see below). They do everything to deliver these shipments on time. No rights can be derived from the fact that a shipment is delivered too late.

DHL Paperless Trade
DHL Paperless Trade (PLT) allows for customs documentation to be sent electronically to DHL, preventing the need to physically print and attach multiple copies of required documentation when shipping internationally. Your customs documents will automatically be forwarded to DHL when you print your shipping label via Sendcloud.
DHL Express muticollo
Multicollo shipments are shipments that consist of multiple parcels to the same receiver address, which are created and send on the same moment in time.
How to create a muticollo shipment:
- By going to Incoming Order Overview, selecting an order and increasing the number of parcels. Shipments are automatically created as multicollo shipments if the shipping method supports this.
- On the Created Labels view, you will see a label multicollo so you can see which parcels are announced together. By clicking on the parcel and opening the shipment detail view, you will also see the linked shipments.

Cancellation
You can not cancel one collo in a multicollo shipment, you will need to cancel all labels.
It’s available for:
- All our active markets where we offer DHL Express.
- All DHL Express shipping methods that support multicollo.
- Available for domestic shipments and international destinations. This is only applicable for international shipments where no customs documentation is involved.
- Available from the Sendcloud platform and direct contract.
Claim procedure
Uninsured shipments
None of the DHL Express shipments are insured as standard. If you do not insure these shipments with the help of our Sendcloud Insurance, no claim can be submitted based on purchase - / sales value. In this case, you are only entitled to a kilo compensation (3.40 euros per kilo) when a shipment is declared missing by DHL Express.
To submit such a claim, we need the purchase and sales invoice including a content description.

Determine the rate of your shipment
The rate of your shipment is determined on the basis of the weight in kilos or volume in m3. Are you sending a bulky "lightweight" shipment? DHL Express calculates the volume weight using the following formula:
Length x width x height (in cm) divided by 5000
After calculating the volume weight, compare this calculated weight with the weight in kilos of the shipment. The highest weight of the two then counts as the weight of your shipment.
When creating the label you must also enter this value under 'weight'. The correct shipping method will be selected based on this.
Customs
NOTE: There are a number of destinations for which customs clearance and delivery may take a little longer, as these countries have stricter procedures for this.
In principle, DHL Express has excellent service in these countries, but in practice it costs extra energy to get certain goods into the country. We recommend that you contact our Customer Service before sending to these countries.
International returns (direct contract only)
International returns are only available for Sendcloud users with a direct DHL Express contract. Make sure all the required information has been uploaded to your Sendcloud account. There are two return methods you could use: DropOff and Pickup. It's not possible to select a specific date for your pickup. In case the Pickup option is selected, DHL Express will pickup the parcel on the next business day.

Extra service with all your Express shipments (On Demand Delivery)
DHL On Demand Delivery (ODD) is one of the many benefits of DHL Express. This is included as standard and gives your customers convenient and flexible delivery options. In the meantime, your customer can choose where and when DHL Express delivers the package.
After your shipment has been transferred to DHL Express, the recipient will immediately receive a message by SMS and / or e-mail and be informed about the expected day of delivery.
The message contains a link to the ODD system. Through ODD, recipients can directly decide how, where and when delivery takes place. On the day of delivery DHL Express sends another message by SMS and / or e-mail so that the recipient knows exactly when he can expect the package. The shipment will be delivered to the original address provided without further notice.
Your customer can choose afterwards from the following delivery options:
Pick up at a DHL service point
The customer picks up the shipment himself at a DHL Service Point nearby.
Schedule the delivery
The customer selects a delivery date that works best for him.
Release of signature
Your customer can give DHL permission to deliver the shipment without signature in the absence.
Delivery to the neighbours, reception or security
The customer gives DHL permission to deliver the shipment to the neighbours, reception or security.
Delivery to a different address
The customer can give DHL permission to deliver to an alternative address (such as work, family, school, etc.).
Waiting time when on holiday
When customers are on holiday, DHL Express can store the shipment for up to 30 calendar days before they arrive.
