Good to know
Everything you need to know before you start shipping.
Our prices are always excluding 21% VAT. On your invoices VAT will be added.
Pickups are possible, but this is not standard. You can request incidental pickups in your panel or request daily pickups (if you have enough volume)
Not all packages are insured by default. You can purchase additional SendCloud Insurance starting from € 0,45 for € 100 insurance!
Our software supports A6 size labels. You can print these either with an A6 label printer or with a standard laserjet printer on A4 size paper, containing 4 A6 size stickers.
All created labels will be charged and invoiced. If you want to cancel a newly created label you can do so before 23:59 so you won't be charged. Otherwise, you can cancel unused labels up to 6 weeks after creation and we will refund this on your next invoice.
Invoicing is done every 14 days, for all the shipments created those two weeks before. Within 5 days after the invoice is sent, we deduct the amount via direct debit on your bank account.
How to prevent surcharges by the carriers? Check our page on how to prevent surcharges.
Are you planning on shipping internationally, here's what you need to know:
HS Code: This code, also known as Harmonised System Code, is a product reference for customs, it is an internationally known code to know what the contents of a parcel are.
Customs form: Shipping outside of the EU? Then you need an extra customs form, i.e. the CN23 or CN22 form + a CP71 form. These are normally created directly upon shipment creation within SendCloud.
Note: Make sure to add three copies of your commercial invoice to your shipment!
If you have questions about your shipment, do not hesitate and contact us so we can start an investigation with the carrier.
