PostNL Standard

(PostNL 23-31.5 kg) Characteristics of the parcel:

• Maximum dimensions 175 x 78 x 58 cm (L X W X H) 

PostNL Standard Return
You can use this method to return shipments from Belgium or the Netherlands back to Belgium. The same characteristics apply as PostNL Standard 23-31.5 kg

PostNL Service Point

Service Presentation:

Have your parcels delivered at a Service point of your customer's choice. This shipping method is available for shipments within Belgium. You can hand-in these shipments to a service point for delivery. 

PostNL Service Point 0-23KG

Shipping method features:

• 1 delivery attempt at a service point
• Not insured

• Maximum weight 23 KG
• Maximum dimensions 100 x 70 x 58 cm (L X W X H) 

PostNL to the Netherlands

Service Presentation:

PostNL delivery service from Belgium to the Netherlands. Available for B2B and B2C shipments.

Shipping method features:

• Insurance depending on the shipping method (see table below)
  • Insured methods include signature on delivery
• 2 delivery attempts
• Tracking included

Characteristics of the parcel:

• Maximum dimensions; 100 x 70 x 58 cm (L X W X H) 

Shipping Packages Worldwide

PostNL non-EU

The shipping method PostNL Globalpack will change starting February 2024. It will be called PostNL non-EU. The core of the service remains the same - it is still an international shipping method outside the EU, but there are some changes regarding signature on delivery and insurance.

Features of this shipping method:

• Track and trace included
• Signature not included for Standard
• Insurance not included for Standard

Shipment characteristics:

• Maximum weight 31.5 KG (a surcharge applies above 23kg)
• Maximum dimensions: 100 x 70 x 58 cm (L x W x H)

Note: In addition to the fixed costs of the shipping label, extra costs per kg will be charged.

PostNL also takes volume weight into account for PostNL non-EU shipments. Calculate the volume as follows: Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) / 7500

Additional service:

• Track and trace insured (includes track and trace, signature, and insurance up to 50 EUR)
• Track and trace insured plus (includes track and trace, signature, and insurance up to 500 EUR)

Direct contract shipping methods

The mentioned shipping methods in this article are available via Sendcloud without requiring a direct contract. If the desired shipping method is not listed, consider entering into a direct contract. Multicollo Shipments

Multicollo shipment is available for all PostNL (Belgium) services.

Each collo will be assigned it's own Tracking number and receive individual Tracking updates. You can view how many shipments are linked to a parcel in the shipment detail view of your panel.

If you need to cancel a collo within the shipment, all labels must be cancelled and recreated. 

Claim procedure

Uninsured shipments

Since the PostNL (Belgium) shipments don't have standard insurance, no claim can be submitted based on purchase - / sales value. In this case, you are only entitled to a kg reimbursement according to the CMR convention. 

To submit such a claim, we need the purchase and sales invoice including a content description.

Please note: damage to a shipment must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery.

Verzendmethodes eigen contract

De genoemde verzendmethoden zijn beschikbaar via Sendcloud zonder dat een eigen contract vereist is. Staat de gewenste verzendmethode er niet bij? Overweeg dan om een eigen contract af te sluiten. Smart returns (retourneren zonder printer)

PostNL ondersteunt ook Smart returns. Hierdoor hoeven je klanten hun retourlabel niet meer af te drukken. In plaats daarvan kunnen ze de barcode die ze via e-mail ontvangen bij het servicepunt laten zien. Voor meer informatie, klik hier.

Multicollo zendingen

Multicollo verzending is beschikbaar voor alle PostNL (België) methodes.

Elke collo krijgt een eigen trackingnummer en ontvangt individuele Tracking updates. Je kunt zien hoeveel pakketten er aan een zending zijn gekoppeld in de detailweergave van de zending in je panel.

Als je één collo binnen de zending moet annuleren, moeten alle labels worden geannuleerd en opnieuw worden aangemaakt. 

Claimprocedure

Omdat de zendingen van PostNL (België) niet standaard verzekerd zijn, kan er geen claim ingediend worden op basis van inkoop - / verkoopwaarde. In dit geval heb je alleen recht op een kg-vergoeding volgens het CMR-verdrag. 

Om zo'n claim in te dienen hebben we de inkoop- en verkoopfactuur nodig, inclusief een inhoudelijke omschrijving.

Let op: schade aan een zending moet binnen 7 dagen na levering worden gemeld.
