Purpose: View the surcharges of the shipping carrier GLS Austria, so you can make an informed decision about which shipping method is best for you. 

Please note: the carrier may change the shipping prices and/or surcharges mentioned below, therefore these prices may be subject to change. Even though we aim to inform you to the best of our abilities, no rights can be derived from the information provided below.

Pick&Return Service Business parcel - EUR 3.60

GLS AT charges a fee of 3.60 EUR for pickups at any business address.

Pick&Return Service EuroBusiness parcel - EUR 5.50

Applicable when the routing code is missing, incorrect or not readable. This surcharge also applies when the postal address is incorrect, because the routing code can't be created.

Manual sorting surcharge - EUR 6

The surcharge applies to goods not suitable for conveyor belts that have to be sorted manually: canisters, suitcases, rolls, rolls of fabrics, bags, tubs, tyres > 2-piece- bundling, ball shaped parcel goods, parcels with overhanging objects, unpacked goods (except tyres), parcels with old labels and routing information, parcels marginally exceeding the max. dimension and the max. weight, volume > 150 liter.

The price of this surcharge is applied per parcel.

Cancellation surcharge for Pick&ReturnService and Pick&ShipService - EUR 3

This surcharge is applied per parcel. E.g: parcel unpacked or ulteriorly shipped.

Address clarification - EUR 2.80

Parcel storage - EUR 3

Up to 10 storage days are already included in the shipping price. As of the 11th day of storage, GLS AT charges a one time extra fee of EUR 3 per parcel.

Price per parcel

Export customs clearance - EUR 3.50 to 25.50

  • (AZA) value of goods < 1.000,- € (incl. 3 customs tariff codes) : EUR 13
  • (AZA) value of goods > 1.000,- € (incl. 3 customs tariff codes) : EUR 25.50
  • (AZA) Turkey (exclusively Incoterm 20) : EUR 25.50
  • (AZA) each additional customs tariff code - all destinations : EUR 3.50
  • (EZA) Incoterm 10, 30, 40 (incl. 3 customs tariff codes : EUR 25.50
  • (EZA) Incoterm 50 (incl. 3 customs tariff codes) : EUR 13
  • (EZA) Incoterm 18 (available only to UK - max. value of goods 135 GBP) : EUR 13

 To avoid the above-mentioned surcharges, please carefully read the shipping conditions, make sure you stay well within the permitted dimensions and, of course, select the right network for your package.
