GLS BusinessParcel + ShopDelivery

GLS BusinessParcel + ShopDelivery is the national shipping solution to have your parcels delivered at a ParcelShop of the recipient's choice. 

Shipping method features:

• Delivery days: Monday - Friday
• Reliable and fast transport of parcels up to 31,5 kg
• Parcels are delivered within 24 hours in Austria
• The recipient is informed when the parcel can be picked up (via SMS or email)
• The consignee has 8 working days in which to collect their item from the ParcelShop
• Real time Tracking

GLS EuroBusiness is an international home delivery shipping method that allows you to ship to countries within Europe. Shipments to neighbouring countries are usually delivered within 24 to 48 hours. For the more distant countries within Europe, the turnaround time is within within 72-96 hours.

• Standard delivery times of 24 - 96 hours
• Delivery from Monday to Friday
• Continuous online parcel tracking, in real time
• Digital consignee signature can be retrieved online
• Second delivery attempt included, for private consignee at a GLS ParcelShop (if available in the relevant country)

• Returns all over Austria within a standard time of 24 hours
• Continuous online parcel tracking for returns

• Parcel returned to the sender address 
• Returns from Monday to Friday
• Continuous online parcel tracking for returns

• Maximum weight: 40 kg
• Maximum dimensions:

  • Height 60 cm

How does GLS pickups work?

You can request an incidental or a recurring pickup. 

Incidental pickup:

• If you are a new customer, please make sure to first reach out to our customer support team
  • Sendcloud will provide you with a user ID and credentials. You will later need this information to request incidental pickups.
  • From now on you can contact GLS directly for incidental pickups through the GLS web portal. Use the given credentials to login. You can then request your incidental pick-ups through the portal.
• If you wish to have a collect on the same day, you need to ask before 11:00. If it is for the next day, then you have until 17:00 to do so. 
• Free of charge
• To cancel a pickup, please contact GLS promptly
• Minimum of 5 parcels per day/per pick up

Recurring pickup: 

• You can schedule a recurring pickup directly from your Sendcloud panel. To learn how to do it, read our article How to create a parcel pickup.

Direct contract shipping methods

If you have a direct contract with GLS, you can easily integrate it with your Sendcloud account. Our GLS Contract Activation guide explains how to connect your direct contract. This setup allows you to ship under your own terms and conditions.

Like every carrier, GLS has prepared a document about their General Transport Conditions. If you deviate from the conditions, a surcharge will be charged on your invoice afterwards. When you send with GLS, you automatically agree to the following conditions:
