Purpose: Learn how to connect your DHL eCommerce UK carrier contract with your Sendcloud account in three easy steps.
Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription
Sendcloud offers three subscriptions with which you are able to use your own transport contract: Lite, Growth and the Premium plan.

Step 2: Request your API credentials from DHL eCommerce UK
To activate your DHL Ecommerce contract, fill in the following fields and click Add this contract:
- ClientID: Provided by your DHL Ecommerce account manager
- ClientSecret: Provided by your DHL Ecommerce account manager

Cut-off time *If you have a recurring picking scheduled with DHL eCommerce UK.
- This is important to fill in, as we will correctly send the requests through to DHL eCommerce UK. Example: if you have a daily collection that arrives every day at 4pm, you will need to fill in 4pm. All orders that are created until 4pm will get the pick-up date from today. All orders created after 4pm will be automatically have the pick-up date from tomorrow.
- Pickup Account Number (optional): Provided by your DHL Ecommerce account manager
- Returns Account Number (optional): Provided by your DHL Ecommerce account manager
- Returns API Token (optional): Provided by your DHL Ecommerce account manager
Step 3: Enable your carrier contract
After activating a Sendcloud subscription and receiving a response from DHL eCommerce UK, you can proceed to connect your carrier contract.
To do this, navigate in your Sendcloud panel to Shipping > Carriers, then open the My contracts tab. Locate DHL eCommerce UK in the list and click Add contract.
Next, fill in all required fields: Client ID, Client Secret, Pickup or Return account number (if applicable), and the cut-off time for your pickups. Important: Without a Pickup or Return account number, the contract cannot be activated.
Complete the form with the information you requested in Step 2 and click Save.
Done! Once you've followed the steps above, your DHL contract should now be successfully linked to your Sendcloud platform and you can begin shipping on your DHL rates. When you create a label with a DHL shipping method, the label price will now show as 0.00 EUR in your account.
