How to manage or change your Sendcloud login credentials

Topic: View how you can manage your login credentials for your Sendcloud account.

Manage your account

  1. Log into your Sendcloud panel and go to Account > Profile
  2. Scroll down to the section Account overview to see the email addresses currently associated with this account
  3. To manage your login preferences and/or change your password, click Manage your account
  4. You will be redirected to the account management page: https://account.sendcloud.com/ 

Email Address

If you have more than one email address you want to use to access your Sendcloud account, you can add them here. One email must be marked as the primary email address by toggling the switch on. Email addresses that have been verified by email, or not yet verified, will be noted here. Only verified addresses can be marked as the primary email address. 

Note: If you add additional email addresses to your account, they will all share the same password as the original email. If you prefer each user to have their own password, activate the Multi-user Feature.
Important: If you want to create a new account and use an email address that is already in use on another Sendcloud account, you must first free up that email address. To do this, log into your old Sendcloud account and change the primary email address.  This will immediately free up the associated address. Once the email address is freed up, you can use it for your new Sendcloud account.
We do not recommend that you try to release the email address by deleting your old Sendcloud account, as the deletion process takes 6 months, which means that the email address would still be in use, and therefore blocked for any new Sendcloud account, during that time.

Password 

In this tab, you can change your current password. 
If you've forgotten your password and can't access your account, click here to reset your password. 

Social Accounts

Here you can connect or disconnect your Sendcloud account with your social media accounts (Facebook or Google) so that you can log in to Sendcloud using the respective social media credentials. 

To unlink your accounts, follow these steps:

  • To disconnect your Facebook account from Sendcloud, click here.
  • To disconnect your Google account from Sendcloud, click here.

Sendcloud 2-Factor Authentication

We have worked on a new security feature for Sendcloud called Customers - 2-Factor-Authentication. We want to explain, in easy steps, how you can activate the feature and how important it is to save the recovery codes.

Activating the 2-Factor Authentication

  1. You can activate the two-factor authentication by clicking here 
  2. For the next step, you need to use an app like Google Authenticator to scan the QR Code, type in the 6-digit code showing up in your app in the “Verification code” input, and tap on ''Verify'' to confirm that you really hook up 2FA correctly on your mobile device
  3. After your confirmation, you should see the following screen

  4. The authentication is now successfully enabled

How to log in

Once you log in with a 2FA-enabled account, you will see the following screen (after you enter your email/password credentials):

You need to input your 6-digit code, showing up in your authenticator app. You can also, alternatively, input an unused recovery code.

How to regenerate recovery codes

If you have used up all the recovery codes (or lost them), you can always press the “Regenerate recovery codes” button here.

Please note: this renders previously generated codes invalid, even if they were not used yet.

How to disable 2FA 

You can disable the 2FA authenticator by clicking here. You will see now the following screen:

After clicking on the  ''Disable two-factor'' Button, you will be asked a question whether or not you really want to confirm the disabling.

Please note: the 2FA can be linked to an account or a sub-user. You can't have a 2FA per email address if you don't have sub-users. If multiple employees are using the same account, we advise creating sub-users, so they can all have their own 2FA. Click here to read more about sub-users.

SSO login

The SSO login feature is only available for our Enterprise customers.

If you are an enterprise customer, you can align with Sendcloud to have an SSO integration. Once set up, your company members can log in using their existing corporate credentials by following these steps:

  1. Click on the SSO button and fill in the form with your corporate email. This email has to be associated with your Sendcloud account.
  2. If your Sendcloud account is configured for your corporate email, you will be redirected to the identity provider to be logged in. For example: if you enter any @sendcloud.com email address, you will be redirected to the IDP for email addresses with a correlated domain, which in this case would be your Google account.
