Purpose: learn how to track, filter, and export your shipping and returns data using the Sendcloud Analytics feature.
Access the Analytics page
To open the Analytics page, click the bar chart icon on the bottom left in Sendcloud panel.
You can track shipping and returns data. Read the relevant section to learn more about it.
Track your shipping data
When you open the Analytics page, you will directly see an overview of your shipping data.
You can track the following:
- Shipments over time: displays the amount of shipments over time.
- Shipment ratio: displays the number of outgoing and incoming shipments.
- Shipments per carrier: displays the carriers and number of shipments per carrier.
- Shipments per country: displays the country, shipment number, and incidence.
- Shipments per integration: displays the number of shipments per integration (online store) that you have connected with Sendcloud.
Track your returns data
To switch to the returns view, follow these steps:
- Click on Shipping and you will see a drop-down menu with the option to choose Returns
- Click on Returns to see your returns data
You can track the following:
- Returns over time: displays the return shipping percentages over time.
- Shipment ratio: displays the number of outgoing and incoming return shipments.
- Returns per carrier: displays the carriers and number of return shipments per carrier.
- Returns per country: displays the returns country, number, and incidence.
These two extra features are available from the Growth plan:
- Returned products: displays the product, the number of times the product has been returned, and the percentage.
- Return product reasons: displays the reason, how many times the product has been returned, and the percentage.
Data filtering
Using filters helps you focus on specific types of data.
To add filters, follow these instructions:
- Click +add filter to filter your data by brand, carrier, destination country, origin country, integration, product name, and/or product SKU.

Click on the date button, which by default is set to track the Last 30 days to change the date range (track shipment data from the last 7, 14, or 30 days, this calendar month or last calendar month). You can even customize your own date range.
- If you want to filter your returns data, click on the Shipping button to change to the Returns dashboard. Click Returns to confirm and apply the relevant filters.
Data export
To export data regarding your shipments and returns, open the relevant dashboard (Shipping or Returns) and click the button Export CSV. This feature is only available from our Premium plan. For more information, see:
