DHL Parcel UK offers a cost-effective and convenient alternative to the Post Office for e-commerce businesses shipping within the United Kingdom. They offer fast, affordable and flexible delivery service which allow you to offer precise delivery time slots to your customers for a reliable customer journey.
Shipping method features:
- You can choose to have your parcel collected from your business premises or to drop-off at any of 50+ UK depots or 3,500 ServicePoints across the UK.
- Fully trackable service
- Your customers will be informed at each point of the delivery journey via email or text message
- Return items not possible - DHL Parcel only offers outbound shipments
- If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery they can reschedule to another day or have it delivered to a safe place, neighbour's house or DHL Parcel UK ServicePoint.
Additional services
When creating your label in Sendcloud, you will have the option to choose the following additional services:
- Home address only with signature
The courier will require a signature from the recipient named on the label before handing over the parcel, and will only deliver to a home address. If the recipient is not home, redelivery will be attempted or the parcel will be delivered to a local service point awaiting further instruction.

For some of the shipping methods stated below, you can choose a time slot in which your parcel will be delivered. The options are as follows:

If your recipient isn’t going to be at home when the parcel is scheduled to be delivered, they can arrange for their parcel to be delivered to their local DHL Parcel UK ServicePoint and collect it at a time to suit them. You can create an incidental pickup with this method from the Sendcloud panel. Once you create a shipment with this method a pick-up will automatically be scheduled for the next business day. You can create a pick-up for next business day until 23:59PM. |

For shipments with a larger weight, the following extra chargies will be applied per shipment:
- 25 - 50 kilos: £0.00
- 51 - 75 kilos: £4.98
- 76 - 100 kilos: £5.88
- 101-200 kilos: £10.88
- 201 kilos plus: £20.00

Important information about rates & services
You acknowledge and agree that all goods being returned to you or being collected from one third party for delivery to another will be carried at your sole risk. DHL Parcel UK does not accept any liability under any circumstances for any loss or damage to such goods (howsoever caused).
All parcels are subject to weight verification. In the event that an under declaration is identified, the correct weight will be used for charging purposes and a correction charge of £0.50 will be added.
If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, a charge of £2.50 per Shipment will be raised for each subsequent delivery attempt. The Shipment will be returned to the sender after 5 working days from the due date of delivery if further delivery instructions are not received. It is agreed that charges for unsuccessful delivery attempts will be waived up to a maximum of 5% of total volume per month. There will be no re-delivery charge when a delivery is made later on the same day.
