Purpose: In this article, you can find the PostAT shipping conditions. These are the terms and conditions set by PostAT for sending parcels.

The PostAT shipping method offers delivery of national shipments within Austria. Delivery to parcel service points is also possible.
Characteristics of the shipping method:
- 0-4 kg
- 4-31.5 kg
- Maximum weight: 4/31.5 kg
- Minimum dimensions: 12 x 10 cm
- Maximum dimensions: L 100 x W60 x H 60 cm
- Maximum dimensions 0-2 kg packages: L 35 x W25 x H3cm
- Maximum length (the longest side): 200 cm
- Maximum belt dimension: 360 cm*
- maximum insured amount for domestic shipments: €510
- maximum insured amount for international shipments: €100
For Boxable shipping methods, the maximum length is 100 cm. Please note that we do not support unboxable methods that exceed 100 cm in length.

PostAT Paket Light International
Delivery of international parcels weighing up to 31.5 kg. You will receive a delivery confirmation together with a tracking number and the delivery to the recipient will be documented. Standard insurance is included up to 100 euros.

- 2-4 kg
- 4-8 kg
- 8-12 kg

- 20-31.5 kg
- Maximum weight: 31.5 kg
- Minimum dimensions: 14 x 9 cm
- Maximum dimensions: L 100 x W60 x H 60 cm (except for weight class 0-2 kg)
- Maximum length (the longest side): 200 cm
- Maximum belt dimension: 360 cm*
- maximum insured amount for national shipments: €510

Information about fragile shipments
Sensitive shipments include CD/DVD players, electronic items, notebooks, computers and accessories, coffee makers, etc.
Shipments with fragile or sensitive contents must be marked "fragile" - excluding liability for breakage or damage due to shock:
If a shipment is fragile and accompanied by the additional service ''Value/Value'', the fee for ''fragile'' will not be charged.
Fuel surcharge
Due to the continuous increase of the fuel prices, Sendcloud is forced to introduce the fuel surcharge for Post AT. During the second half of 2021, we've taken the loss due to the increasing fuel prices on us. This was with the assumption that prices would eventually go down/normalize again. Considering the current political situation and the economical climate, we don't expect this'll happen any time soon. Because of this we've introduced a temporary fuel surcharge.
How do we calculate this surcharge?
Per 1% over the 9% fuel surcharge an amount of 0.04 EUR/parcel will be charged.
Example: If the DPD fuel surcharge is 22.5%, then a surcharge of 0.54 EUR (13.5 x 0.04 EUR) will apply.
My shipment has not been accepted at the parcel shop, what now?
- Parcel must necessarily be dropped off at the counter.
- The customer must make it clear that it is a "Großkundenannahme".
- In the best case, the customer number of Sendcloud - 0022072740 - is indicated again.
- If the barcode is not immediately readable; then please advise the staff that this process may take 45 to 60 seconds.
- If it still does not work, please test the delivery again in another service point.
