Purpose: Learn how to map statuses to customize the order updates that Sendcloud statuses trigger in your PrestaShop back office.
How to map order statuses
While processing your orders in Sendcloud you might want to trigger specific actions or statuses to track your order's progress in PrestaShop. To customize these updates, you can map each Sendcloud status to the corresponding PrestaShop status of your choice (or to none, if you prefer not to).
Follow the instructions below to map order statuses:
- In the Sendcloud panel go to Settings > Integrations > Find your Prestashop V2 integration > Click Configure.
- On the integrations settings page, expand the Order status mapping section
- Initially, you will see the default mapping of Sendcloud statuses and those configured in the backend of your PrestaShop store.
- To make custom adjustments as to which PrestaShop status should be set once the order’s status in Sendcloud changes, select one of the available statuses from the drop-down list. This list displays all the statuses that exist in your online store.
- Repeat Step 4 for every Sendcloud status that you want to map.
- Click Save changes to save any modifications.
Reset to default mapping
If you want to revert the changes and go back to the default set of statuses, click the Reset to default mapping button and then click Reset to default to confirm.
How to reproduce the behavior of PrestaShop V1 statuses
Don't send any feedback
If you don't want Sendcloud to send any feedback to PrestaShop, which means that Sendcloud's statuses won't trigger any update of the order statuses in PrestaShop, click the drop-down menu and set all of the PrestaShop Status values to "None".
Change the parcel's status to "Sent" when the carrier processes (scans) the label
To update the status to "Sent" when only when the parcel is picked up by the carrier, map the Sendcloud status "In transit" to "Shipped" and the "Ready to send" Sendcloud status to "None".
Change the parcel's status to "Sent" immediately when the label is created (announced to carrier)
To update the status to Sent in PrestaShop immediately when the label is created in Sendcloud, map both Sendcloud status "Ready to send" and "In transit" to "Shipped".
Send "Canceled" status to shop
To change the PrestaShop order status to “Cancelled” when the label is canceled in the Sendcloud panel map the “Cancelled” status to “Canceled”.
Don't send "Canceled" status
If you don’t want to cancel orders after canceling labels map the “Cancelled” status to “None”.
