FedEx has migrated to a new REST API. New FedEx contracts must be connected using the updated setup described in this article.

Step 1: Activate your Sendcloud subscription

To connect your own FedEx contract, you need an active Sendcloud subscription that supports carrier contracts: Lite, Growth, or Premium.

For more information about Sendcloud plans, visit our pricing page or contact our support team via your Sendcloud account

Step 2: Start adding your FedEx contract

Important: Once you start adding your FedEx contract, you have 30 minutes to complete the setup. If the session expires, you’ll need to restart the process.

Before you begin, make sure you have an active FedEx account. The information you enter in Sendcloud must exactly match the details registered with FedEx.

  1. In your Sendcloud panel, go to Shipping > Carriers > My contracts.
  2. Click Add contract and select FedEx.
  3. Read and accept the FedEx End User License Agreement.

Step 4: Activate your FedEx contract

To complete the setup and activate your FedEx contract in Sendcloud, you must verify your contract using one of the following verification methods.

💡 Not all verification methods might be available for you. The options that you will see, are available for your account. If there are any issues with the contract verification, please consult with FedEx sales support to verify the correct details..

Email: Request a 6-digit verification code, which will be sent to the email address associated with your FedEx account number.

SMS: Request a 6-digit verification code, which will be sent via SMS to the phone number associated with your FedEx account number.

Invoice: Verify your account by entering the details of a FedEx invoice that is no more than 90 days old.
You will be asked to provide:

  • Invoice number
  • Invoice date
  • Invoice currency
  • Invoice amount

Once the verification is successful, your FedEx contract will be added to Sendcloud and ready for use!
